handy fill lights
I use these lights to make videos at my desk and to take product photos, where the room lighting is not balanced. They are good fill lights to remove shadows and balance lighting for this type of close-up use. I wouldn't count on one or two of them to light up a stage or room. I generally have them set within 3 feet of the subject, as long as I can keep them out of the shot and avoid glare spots. If I'm recording myself, I have to arrange them off to the side because they are too bright to be in front of me. I couldn't look at the camera if they were positioned directly in front as you would a ring light. I liked the quality, versatility, & price compared with other options. By quality, I mean the tripods, connections, and lights all feel solid to me like they will hold up through lots of repositioning. The brightness is adjustable but I've only used the highest setting. The diffusion lenses slide into tabs that hold them tightly against the front of the light. The lenses are thick and produce a definite color change (white, red, blue, orange are included for each light). I haven't had them long enough to know how well the LEDs will perform over time, but I've used them for a few hours and the initial quality it good. By versatility, I mean that they are very easy to use and position as fill lights. The brightness settings make a meaningful difference (though I wish they published a measurement like lumens so this statement was more data-driven). The tripods have 3 telescoping sections which can be set to any height from 19-48". There's an adaptor that attaches to the top of the tripod which allows you to swivel/tilt & secure the light at any angle. The tripod (and adaptor) use a standard screw connection so they work with any camera gear you might have. The kit also includes a mini tripod that's 1.5" tall so you can set it right on the desktop if you want. Each leg is about 3" long, so it's very stable on a flat surface. The only negative so far is with the power supply. These are USB-powered, and it has to be a USB port with at least 2.4 amps, not just a data port. Depending on your computer and where you want to use these lights, having enough open USB ports is something you should consider before buying. Also, the cord is 6.5 feet long but when the light is atop a 4' tripod it does put a bit of a limit on the setup radius from the computer. Once I got these set up, I found that there were still some shadows that I wanted to fill-in from other angles. I liked these lights so well that I purchased a second set without hesitation. Attached Photos: 1. Light with white diffuser lens partially removed. 2. Top of tripod allows 180 degrees of tilt. 3. Adaptor, goes between tripod and light, and allows swivel & tilt in any direction. 4. Comparison photo. The top view shows natural lighting from a window on the left side; note the shadows on the right. For the bottom photo, I added only ONE of the two lights that came in this set.

Great lights and great value
EXACTLY what I needed for filming my “MiniVerse kitchen”. The lights are easy to set up and function. The lighting quality suites my area just fine. I like the different shade panels to easily change the color tone and brightness of my videos, which adds to the versatility of the lights. They seem to be stable, even fully extended. Please note that you will need to purchase the USB plugs and make sure they’re strong enough to pull the recommended and required power. HIGHLY recommend. Come visit on YT at RinasAMaker.

Great lighting
The light are great, the size was smaller than I expected, but overall they are very bright and get the job done.

Cheap and Practical
I've worked 6 years as a product photographer within the jewelry industry, I'm writing this review on my wife's account. For the price these are sold at, this product is amazing. It's not as bright as higher end, professional equipment. But it's as bright as it needs to be to get the job done in a dark room. For small scale product or portrait work. This is a brilliant, extremely compact lighting solution on a budget, possibly the most affordable entry solution on a budget that there is. That combined with the removeable colored panels and highly adjustable dimmable switch, means this equipment can perform well alongside many higher end options. Simply because at the end of the day, light is light, as long as it's consistent. The only downside I have, is that I saw no plugs for these units. you'll need to buy some USB plugs separately because that's what these use. But for the price, honestly? You can't beat it.

Good price, does what it says. Love it.
This pair of lights feels like the prefect set to provide good lighting for a life let on video! Placing just one light in front of you can flatten your face, but two, one on either side to the front, sculpts the face a little, and looks much better. They come with decent length cables to reach a USB hub (that I already owned - they don't have a power supply, they use USB) and the switch and brightness controls are right on the cables. The tripods are not that solid, but they're going to sit on my desk behind my monitors forever, and don't need to be that robust. There are also little mini-tripods to sit the lamps on a shelf, say, but these don't allow for any tilt. Lastly, there are connectors to mount a lamp on a camera flash shoe, not that I'll be using that. Oh, and some pretty solid color "gels" (actually acrylic) in case you feel the need to spiff things up with colors. All in all, a great deal for a home office video set-up.

After having poor lighting in my home office for the longest time, I decided to fork out less than $50 (delivered) for these lights. I only generally need one of them and it's made the BIGGEST difference. I probably only use less than half the full brightness and don't even typically need to face the light directly at myself to get great lighting for video calls / videos at home. I decided to change up the front panel to the red one (they provided a few colours) at night as a night light, so I have light but it's not overwhelming for my eyes. The tripod is high enough to easily sit over the back of my monitors, but I like that they've included a mini tripod for when you just need the lighting low (I haven't used it yet, but it's cool). For the cost, what you get is sensational.

There are a few levels of brightness, with the lowest being suitable for desk use (e.g. video calls) and the higher settings giving some pretty ok lighting to your subject. The lowest setting is a fair bit dimmer than the second setting, so be aware that it'll sudden brighten up, hence why I feel that lowest setting is good for desk use. Also be careful when first turning the lights on, as they don't save your previous setting, and start very bright, so try and aim them down/cover them, or make sure no one is looking at them when you first turn them on. I had a missing ball head adapter as there were supposed to be 2, so contacted customer service who were really fantastic and sent me the missing part really quickly! Much appreciated!

The product offers excellent brightness at a competitive price point. Integration of a multi-connection adapter would further enhance its value proposition.
