I'm satisfied.
This works well as a case for my Canon AE-1. The camera fits perfectly fine. However, for some reason, this case was designed so your camera is upside down when you wear the strap. Other than that, I'm satisfied.

Canon AE 1 Versions
It fits perfectly for my Canon AE 1 Program. The outter part has a hard shell and the inner part fits perfectly with one of the FD prime lenses. Get this if you're looking for a simple zip up case for your Canon AE 1.

Small!
I looked up case for a canon ae-1 and this was the recommended. I don’t have a large lense by any means and the case would not come near shutting! I wouldn’t recommend this as it sounds like it happens to others. I have a 50mm lense

Doesn't fit the camera outlined..
Yeah this doesn't fit the camera in the description nor in the photo. It's not tall enough to have the body and any lens on it.

Almost perfect
The Canon AE1 with lens is a perfect fit. Add the lens cap and it’s very snug. The camera is upside down when the straps are connected, poor design there. Solid for protecting the camera. Possibly would buy again if I had another AE1

I got this fir my Cannon AE-1 Film Camera
Fits my camera just right. It also came with a strap to put on the outside which is useful. I am going to put stickers on it to make it look cool.

Does not fit canon ae1p
Seems like a fine case, but was advertised and pictured to fit the canon ae1p with 50mm lens. It does not fit that lens, so had to return.
