Well detailed but would be even better with a whole engine. I recommend because Tamiya is so far the best I've built

Bought the model over 7 months and I made other models in between. Finally finished it. This is one of the easiest models I made and I highly recommend it. Like all scale models you need experience and the necessary tools to make it a showroom models. Here are the pros and cons. Pros - everything fits like a lego. There is no guessing or fixing on the parts. - the instructions are very clear and you can't go wrong - the decal is a lot better because it is thick enough and sticks easily - the model looks like a real car and proportionally correct Cons - there's no engine and the hood doesn't open, but you can make further modifications to add in the details - the color pallet is tricky. You need good color and airbrush to make it perfect. - finishing the model is tricky because of the small parts and you need clear coat

This brand of model is very realistic and precisely made.

It's a tamiya kit, what else can be said. I only wish it had a full engine and not a curbside kit

I was excited to see it turn out... could have been one of my best until I peeled off the accompanying masking for the clear plastic. It left a thick, irremovable residue. This has happened on 4 of the (maybe) 7 Tamiya models I've purchased. I contacted Tamiya USA, emailed back and forth. They wanted to try to recreate the issue. They didn't offer a refund, replacement pieces or a discount coupon for a new purchase. I'm a little salty that I'd have to buy another model just for the clear plastic pieces, but hopefully they CAN replicate the issue and resolve the problem so no one else has it happen. All in all it's a nice build. They have custom decals @ Spot Model, but be sure to use regular tape and cut out a custom mask with a hobby knife.

Ich bin absoluter Mustang Fan und habe genau deshalb dieses Modell gebaut. Weil ich zu faul war, die Karosse zu lackieren, habe ich mich für die weiße Variante entschieden. Es ist zwar teilweise eine Fummelei, die kleinen, sehr detailgetreuen Teile zusammen zu bauen, aber man wird mit einem schönen Modell belohnt. Die Passgenauigkeit der Teile ist hervorragend. Leider gibt es so etwas von Tamiya nicht im Maßstab 1:10 oder 1:12.
