Great Tea for Coffee Drinkers
I am typically a coffee drinker, but was trying to cut back and drink tea instead. In researching strong teas that have a similar flavor profile and mouthfeel to coffee, I discovered Irish Breakfast tea. As a coffee snob, I knew that I wanted to try loose leaf, as I typically was disappointed with the results using tea bags. I brew this loose leaf tea in my French press at home and I have been quite satisfied with it. The flavor is strong and sharp, but not overly bitter or acidic. I have been drinking this for a year and have since switched to the 16 oz bag, as it provides better value. I kept the tin in order to refill for daily use. Overall I highly recommend this quality tea!

Superb tea, taste and perfume
I've never tried this company, but I was looking for a small box of loose tea, in Irish breakfast and this was the best value. Such fantastic taste and aroma. I'll be buying this again and subscribing if that's possible! Comes in a tiny and beware when you pop the lid there's tea right there! No peel off plastic or bag inside it goes straight to the tea and that's fine, just be aware! Fresh and aromatic. If you can't find your usual brand or you want to try something new try this because oh my gosh it's so good.

Quite good.
This is a nice, flavorful tea. I use the loose tea leaves. I think it tastes better than the fannings in a tea bag. While I prefer Stash Double Bergamont Earl Grey, this one is easier to find and is very pleasant. I found that decaffeinated Earl Grey is available in tea bags but not readily available in loose tea. Too bad. We should all have such problems to write about.

Good value Irish breakfast tea
I admit I intended to get the English breakfast tea when I purchased this one. I still prefer English, but this tea arrived reasonably fresh with intact leaves and few stems. A portion can be used for two 750 ml pots, so good value. If you prefer Irish breakfast tea, I recommend this one.

One of My Staples
I keep nine varieties of tea on hand in a tray at all times, and most of them are Harney & Sons. I like to mix blends often, but lately I've just been drinking this Irish Breakfast all by itself for my morning tea. Also makes a nice blend 50/50 with their Darjeeling, or 80/20 with Gunpowder Green.

Disappointed then delighted!
I ordered this particular brand because it had the highest rating. I've always used bags and was excited to try loose leaf tea in my new electric kettle. I am very disappointed. I don't care for the aroma or the taste. I tried 4 spoonfuls and it was too weak. Tried 5 and didn't like the taste. Maybe I just don't know how to do loose leaf yet. Anyway, I've ordered 2 other brands so l will see if it's just me or if it's the tea. Addendum: yep! It was me! I figured out what I did wrong. I left the strainer containing the tea in the kettle too long. Today, I didn't put the tea strainer in until the water was getting hot and then took it out about 10 minutes after it had boiled. GREAT TEA!! I'm so pleased. Now I recommend it highly!

Perfect flavor
Great tea with strong and delicious flavor. Irish breakfast tea is my go-to morning drink. I switched to a loose leaf from a bag and tried this one. I brew at 200-205F for 3.5-4 min. Brewing at 212 for 4 as suggested was too bitter for my taste.
