Quality professional lighting!
I love these lights. I take photos of clothing for my business, and these do the job well. Very good value for the cost. The lights sometimes seem a bit too bright for what I use them for, but the color is a nice, bright white. They're what you think of when someone says "professional lighting." I've been able to catch flaws on clothing items with these that I otherwise could not see. If you're using these to take photos or videos of people, these do a great job at lighting up the space. They aren't difficult to set up or disassemble and don't take up too much room. I've had to move locations with these and they pack up well with the bag these lights come with. Other lights I've tried come with USB plug-ins, but these come with classic power cords for the wall, which was also a huge plus for me.

Reasonable quality; slightly cool flicker-free light; consider 2x bulbs w/adapters for more lumens
I occasionally need some controlled diffused lighting and these seemed like a good choice. The stands and reflectors are fine and should last well enough with some care. They fold up compactly but I'll store them in a plastic storage container they are, at least for myself, more convenient than the zippered pouches. Plus they are stackable and labelable. For an occasional user, I wish someone would allow the reflector to be folded without removing the bulb. The bulb socket feels ceramic so that's good, but I did have to bend the center pin up a bit to make contact with the center contact of the bulb. Minor point but you might check this (unplugged, of course) if your light does not work. The lights themselves are fine. 5700k is a tad on the cool side of pure white. Personally I like the warmer side but my camera has the ability to set the white balance to 5700k and the results seem fine. General color rendition is good but I feel like the greens are a tad muted. Again, just my personal observation and preferences. On the plus side, a sequence of 1/8000-second photos produced very closely exposed images indicating a these lights are reasonably flicker free. No banding has been seen on video. And when the power is switched off, the light fades out suggesting a large capacitor to filter the power to reduce flicker. Light output is fair. Sure, a longer shutter speed is always there. What I ended up doing is buying two more matching LED bulbs and using light bulb splitter adapters doubled the light output. This was a good move has it reduced my shutter speed and gives me options to place the lights further away. So, if you will need these occasionally, these would be fine with care. If you are going to set them up and leave them up, you'll probably be good. Everyday setup and take downs by a travelling photographer, well, you'll just have to take really good care of them. And don't forgot about the double light idea. BT recommended with care

Great set of lights
Overall this is an amazing set of lights. The quality of photos and videos is much better. Perception of depth is good as well once you start using these lights. Setup: All the items comes very well boxed and packaged by the manufacturer. The setup process was fairly easy and took less than 10 minutes to unpack and setup for the first use Quality: The box comes with a pair of bulbs, nicely boxed in. Once set up the light was adequate enough for some great shots. This is very good for a home studio or vlogging setup. Stand: The stand itself was a bit tricky to assemble for the first time. However, once I got used to the first one setting up the second one was a breeze. The only issue I saw was that above 5 feet, the stand being top heavy becomes a bit unstable. i had to adjust the legs again to give the unit some stability. Once you are aware of this, you will be able to take care of ensuring the legs are supporting the unit well and stable. The wires are also heavy and when the stand is farther way from a power source, extending the wires can make the stand unstable as well. This is the same for most other softbox kits as well. So not restricted to the Neewer ones alone. Highly recommend this gear for amateur or professional setup.

Effective work from home zoom lighting
I recently purchased two softboxes for improving my video lighting setup as a full-time remote worker. Overall, I found them to be easy to assemble and effective for the price point. The assembly process was straightforward, and I appreciated the simplicity of putting them together. They provide excellent lighting for my video calls and work well for my needs. While the included bag adds convenience for storage and transportation, I found the kickstands to be somewhat flimsy. To prevent them from easily tipping over, I would recommend weighting them down. However, despite this minor issue, they haven’t fallen over on their own, which is reassuring. In conclusion, these softboxes have successfully fulfilled their purpose for me, and I would consider purchasing them again. Despite the slight inconvenience with the kickstands, they offer good value for the price and I recommend them for anyone looking to enhance their WFH video lighting setup.

Very Nice for the price- great for an amateur or beginner.
I received the dual kit today which I bought with a $10.50 discount. Which means for $65.38 I got two lights with stand, the hood and the cover to make it a softbox light. I agree this is not professional equipment. However, for $65.00 I wouldn't be able to buy one complete professional softbox. In fact, I would probably need to spend at minimum another $100 just to get the cheapest professional gear. All that being said. I am not a professional but an amateur and I do this mostly as a hobby. I am very happy to have two of these lights and I am happy to say that mine came packed expertly and everything came in full working order. I love that it all has a carrying case and that the light bulbs came inside a box with molded Styrofoam. I am very satisfied and I have to say after testing it on some self portraits today, I am very satisfied. What I really like about this is that I can remove the cover of the softbox and almost use it as an umbrella light. I uploaded some self-portraits and a view of the setup. The first photo with the softer tones it's the softbox with the cover and the second without the cover. I also show the setup with the light off and on. If you are looking for a sturdy, professional equipment which will stand the test of time. This is probably not the equipment you want. If you are an amateur or beginning and have a limited budget then this will probably serve you well, provided you take care of it. A note of caution. When extending the legs there is a sweet spot where the legs have the most spread. Below or above that spot the area the legs spread is smaller and may cause the equipment to fall over. See the images for what I mean. The way the stand works is almost like how an umbrella opens and so you'll have to take care to make sure leave about 3 to 4 inches from the bottom of the pole to the junction of the legs (see images for visual).

Absolutely Amazing
Okay let me first start by saying I chose these lights to replace my ring light I got tired of buying ring lights that ultimately end up breaking or not providing enough light for my videos I am not a photographer but I do enjoy creating videos and I chose these to help take my content up a notch with a green screen These lights are AMAZING!! I don’t even use Both and I have enough light for my videos I will say they are pretty big so if you have a limited space (like me) just keep that in mind when trying to store them places I like how easy it is to plug up and use whenever I wish they could fit in my closet but I do appreciate the bag they come in ! It makes traveling easy Although I haven’t put the light back after taking it out so I’m not sure how take down is but I love the light it provides ,the length of the cord and how easy it is to put the cord back so my pets aren’t chewing on the cord Would totally recommend

Extremely easy to assemble and probably the best "travel" soft box light kit you'll find without spending more than $200.
I have a larger soft box setup which uses five bulbs in each head and has larger boxes, so I bought this set to aide in working with those and to bring to shoots where space was a concern and time as well. The bigger ones are an absolute pain to assemble and it takes about ten minutes to put each one together - not these things, however. Literally it's as easy as opening an umbrella. The people who have trouble popping the retaining ring into place must have absolutely no hand strength, because it's not hard to do at all. The carrying case holds everything neatly in place, well organized, and you unfold the box, pop the ring into place, install the bulb (do this before you put it on the stand), and voila, in five minutes, literally, you're done with each one. I've had no problems with the on/off switches or the bag, or anything else and I've used these a couple of times now. The stands are actually pretty good quality and I went with the Neewer brand because I've had good luck with many of their other products and figured they might hold their manufacturers to a slightly higher standard than the other cheapo light kit options out there. I was not disappointed. I have seen a lot of cheap light kits that friends have, and for a few bucks more, this is a much better option. The easy assembly of these soft boxes is well worth the money!
