NIOD Lip Bio-Lipid Concentrate - 0.5 Oz

Was really curious about this concentrate after hearing that beauty editors swear by it. Overall really like this product- it’s meant to be used consistently over time to see the best results. I applied a bit on my upper and lower lip morning and night as the instructions suggested and have definitely seen a difference in lip appearance, size, and volume. Pair this product with a Botox lip flip and it looks like you have legit lip fillers! A few notes- the scent didn’t bother me at all, I found it to be on par with the smell of other lip plumping products. The consistency is a light, slightly oily serum consistency. I would recommend being careful to NOT apply this outside the lip line, because it will cause redness around your mouth if it gets on your skin. Stings just a tiny bit (ie not painful or anything) when you’re applying it those first few times, otherwise doesn’t really feel like much. Would recommend!

Best lip plumper on the market! You can see an immediate difference after about 2 minutes. It looks like I just had my lip filled with juvederm. The affect does not last all day-but when I use it consistently morning and night for several days they start to stay larger longer. Only get this product on your actual lips b/c it will make what ever it touches red and slightly swollen. One other bonus is it does not sting or irritate the lip like lots of other plumpers.

I only blame myself. I keep thinking one day there will be something that will give me lush lips with no injections. I've tried lip plumpers of varying prices, brands...they all do the same thing -- nothing. I decided to try this one after seeing a video from a site/blog I, ahem, thought I trusted for truthful reviews. Her lips do appear to get plumper over the course of the video. Slightly, not crazy big. So I thought, ok I'll give it a whirl. Yes, it tingles. It FEELS like something is happening, so something MUST be happening, right??? I used this twice a day for several days as directed on the label. Other than the tingle, this also temporarily darkens/reddens your lips and the immediate surrounding skin of your lip line. And this is where I am convinced you are lured into believing some plumping has occurred. Since the reddening extends past your lip line it can appear that your lips have indeed plumped up. Much the way your lips appear larger if you overdraw them with liner. But if you really look (and boy, I did), you can see that the actual volume of your lips has not changed. Once the reddening subsides, which is pretty short term anyway, you can really tell that your lips are indeed the same dang size they were before. SO, people, I am telling you the honest truth here -- take a hard pass on this.

So far so good! Tingling sensation is only intense if you slather on — a drop’ll do ya. However, it does smell! It’s hard to describe but if I had to give it a shot, I’d say the wet cement floor of a garden/nursery center. Not the worst I’ve smelt, but not pleasant — especially so close to my nose.

It seems yo be working to smooth the area around the lips and plump the lips, too.

Makes my lips look plumper all day long and slightly darker pink the more I use it. Stinging goes away after a couple of days of use. I have sensitive skin and I didn't get an allergic reaction.

Definitely worked for plumping... a little too well. I definitely use it but am more careful to use a VERY small amount because the first time the area above my lips swole up as well.

I’ve been wanting to try this for a long time after having an amazing experience with Deciem’s other skin care products. I had some slight tingling with this product and misinterpreted it as a sign that it was working. I continued using as directed until all was used. I feel that this made my lips very dry and that was all.

Es brennt etwas und die Lippen sind schon etwas praller, aber ich persönlich bekomme Ausschlag und rote Ränder um den Mund herum. Finde ich nicht sehr angenehm.

I'm slightly sceptical. I felt that I saw a slight difference with this product on the first day, but nothing much after that. I bought it based on reviews being amazing but I wouldn't say it was worth the money. It's amazing at hydrating your lips but not so much enhancing them. It also tastes unpleasant if you happen to get it on your tongue. I've attached a picture to show the first five minutes. But after an hour or so this effect evaporates.
