I have bought several Mkono macrame wall hangings for places around my house, including 3 of this one because it's just the right size, shape, and price for "wall filler" that I will really enjoy seeing. This particular design is just so beautiful! When I want macrame, I see what Mkono has first, because the quality is reliable every time. The ivory color is perfect, and the price is also part of what keeps me coming back for more. The ivory goes with anything, and it's easy to add a touch of your own color in one way or another (a garland, a vine, a ribbon, whatever you can think of). I always iron mine before hanging with a regular iron and ironing board. In my own home, I prefer to see a more defined shape on my walls....although they also look good un-ironed if that's the look you're going for. Just thought it might help somebody if I mention that ironing is an option. I think it brings out the beauty of the craftsmanship, because they are really made well. Here's how I iron it: Just keep the steam flowing and the iron moving, and you should be ok. You won't burn it. I thread it onto the dowel rod first, then I lay the top section of it (the part just below the dowel rod) across my ironing board. This part is usually woven and easy to iron, only takes a minute. You'll iron one section at a time, from top to bottom, pulling the dowel rod down each time. It's usually the 2nd section that takes the most time, because you'll have to individually position every string that's out of line, until they lay flat. It's a little boring, but the whole process of ironing only takes about 30 minutes or less. You can also pull on the strings when they're warm, which helps to straighten them. For larger wall hangings that get heavy and want to fall off the ironing board as you get toward the bottom, just set your ironing board up near a table or other surface. You can rest the part that's already been ironed (the part with the dowel rod) on the other surface, so that just the bottom section of strings stay in place on your ironing board without falling off. I think that Mkono makes really great products!

A lovely item. Perhaps a little pricey; but well made and looks great on the wall. It comes well packaged to avoid tangling. You tie the hanger yourself so you can choose the length. Overall I’m very happy.
