HP Laser Jet. Uncomplicated. Fast. Just the Job.
There is nothing to dislike. This printer virtually installed its self on the wireless network and via its usb cable. Two ways to connect... fast printing and excellent quality print. Well packaged and very fast delivery via Amazon Prime, next day. All leads supplied. There was even a nice 'thank you' card from the seller. Very, very happy. Merry Christmas Amazon.

Great little printer - toner lasts forever!!
We have been using this printer every week-day for delivery labels since May 2021 and in that time only had to top up the toner once (around 10,000 A5 labels). At the same time, our big LaserJet has churned through several hundred ££s of toner cartridges. For light/ medium use in a small office or home business, this is a perfect printer.... and the most cost effective HP LaserJet we have owned.

Good buy for a compact laser printer
I was first of all very relieved that this was no overpowering colossus of a ‘hulk of plastic’ for a printer and if you are looking for compact and minimum intrusion into your space, this is the printer for you.The printer is perfectly compact and takes up very little space, all massive bonuses as this will be living on my kitchen counter.I didn’t buy the printer for its ‘green’ credentials, but now I have it set up, and I have tested the print performance, I’m glad on the eco side, it’s not letting itself down. The App was very easy to set up and I started printing wirelessly with no problem.I have to mention the ease of printing wirelessly with the app set up.I have no home broadband and I hotspot using my android work phone as my ‘WiFi network’ and I have the app downloaded on my personal iPhone and it couldn’t be simpler. As a review for the print performance, it is good, but I didn’t expect anything less for the price so this was not my particular concern with choosing this printer. I was looking for ease of ‘straight out of the box set- up’ , and I highly recommend this printer for that alone. In conclusion app integration with printer is seamless I had no problem setting this up without a conventional home broadband WiFi set-up.I have dropped a star as I believe this printer cannot print on both sides, but as I’m not volume printing, this is not a major detractors for me.

The worst printer in the world
I bought this printer to replace a Samsung one, and I really wish I hadn't bothered'; it is by some distance the worst printer I have ever used. When it prints, it's good. However, the problem is that the majority of tht time, it doesn't print. It regularly goes offline for no reason, typically once or twice per day. Despite trying to use the troubleshooter, uninstalling and reinstalling, etc, the only way I have found to get it working again when it goes offline for no apparent reason is to literally turn the printer off, restart my laptop, wait 60 seconds or so, then restart both laptop and printer again. This is happening on both my laptop and our desktop. When it isn't going offline, it regularly reports that there is no paper loaded, even though there is. The troubleshooter advises you to ensure that you are using the correct quality paper, that the paper isn't bent or torn, etc, and suggests turning on and off, and so on. However, none of these work. If you leave the printer for an unspecified amount of time, at some point it will just start printing, and any print jobs you have previously sent all churn out.I really don't see how this is fit for purpose. It is an HP printer being used on an almost-new HP laptop, printing with HP-branded paper, and, after a week of battling with it, I've had enough. It's hard enough working from home doing a job that requires you to do quite a bit of printing, let alone trying to do so when you have a useless printer with a mind of its own.It has the same problems whether you connect to it via wifi or the supplied USB cable. Oh, and printing from an iPhone also seems virtually impossible. Having followed the instructions and installed the app, it all looks okay except the 'print' button is permanently grayed out in the app on my phone. The first time I tried to print from my iPhone it worked successfully; the second time, I just gave up in the end., and it has never worked since. What a shambles. I am returning the printer. It is just a rather large and expensive paperweight for all the good it does. This is especially disappointing as I have used HP products for many years.

Great value laser quality printing in my home office
I've had this a year now, and at the risk of invoking Sod's law, have to say, it has been flawless.I bought the toner double pack shortly after getting the printer because I tend not to trust manufacturers' estimated page estimates.I've just put the second refill into it today, su it's full again (HP estimate 5000 pages worth of toner included with printer) and having checked the diagnostics web page, it has done 4750 pages.Bearing in mind the double pack was about £26 when I bought it, that's darn good value.Obviously, at some point I'll need to replace the drum unit, but that'll only add another £80, and it (hopefully) should last another 15,250 pages. All of this is still a lot cheaper to run than any of the other laser printers I've owned or managed. It was a piece of cake to set up and it runs smoothly with our HP and Dell work laptops as well as our own Apple ones. The iPhone app is excellent, allowing me to print documents over Wifi without any fuss.I miss not having double sided printing, but am genuinely happy with my choice. Would definitely recommend.

Good printer.
A good little printer for the price. Very fast and good quality print. A little quirky to set up the wireless connection, but I did get it after a while, you only need to set it up once so not really a problem. If you need a low priced black and white laser printer, I would recommend it.
