The sound is seriously clean. Balanced, clear, and way louder than expected. You hear details in music you didn’t notice before. Definitely worth it.

These sounds Amazing! I use them on my DDJ-10000, The quality of the sound is Amazing and setup is so easy!

So, I had to wait for my XLR to TRS cables to come in along with a power conditioner to make sure everything went smoothly before making my review. First off, I'll say these things are amazing! Went to Guitar Center and tested a bunch of monitors for about an hour and these stood out in MANY ways. When I purchased these here and got them into my home, I plugged them in to make sure they at least powered on (to which they did). When I did this, I heard a slight hiss. Considering this, I bought the power conditioner, plugged that in, plugged the speakers into my M-Audio Pro Duo, and not a single hiss. The sound space is very clear! Makes me wonder why I've been working off of my AKG headphones for so long. If you're wondering about getting the $100 monitors or these for a couple hundred more, do it. There IS a difference. I've heard it personally with them side by side. Recommendation: 1. Buy these. 2. Buy 2 XLR to 1/4" TRS Cables 3. Buy Pyle power conditioner (or whatever brand) 4. Buy/Use an interface (M-Audio, Scarlett, whatever) 5. (Optional) Buy the foam pads, depending on where you're putting these. Sturdy built speakers, but maybe not so much can be said as the same for your desk/shelf/whatever.

Ok, here it is......I have owned tis since April 2025 and while I don't think it is the best but for the price point;/ It is good. I craft my sounds in y home studio prior to live performances and I like to hear the real sound not EQ'd, muddy or tainted in any way. This speaker (bought a pair) gives me just about that and one tike I left a slight error in my sound, it picked it up and I heard the same when I used it in a live setting. With the vol knob between 5-6 and the EQ + HF trim flattened, I think it gives you a decent recreation of what to expect in a live performance. I have also used in mastering a track and I think it was decent at least better that my krk go (as expected). Deserves a solid 4 to 4.5 for it's effectiveness in mirroring your sound input. I might as well add that when paired with a sub, more clarity might be obtained but I prefer mixing without subs especially as not all live venues that I play in has subs so I need to factor in the Hi-pass in my set up.

Great sound full, spectrum. No hassle purchase

I picked these up on a holiday sale and I am very impressed. They are cleaner and fuller sounding than my KRK Classic 5 (which are the same size). Very accurate and detailed across the spectrum with a wide sweet spot. You could use these to fill up a room with sound, but of course with their balanced-only inputs they are really meant for studio work. JBL makes great stuff and has done so for decades. This is one of their best products considering the unbelievable value.

Hermosos monitores, los tengo en mi setup casero de DJ y la calidad es inmejorable para el precio, incluso para un evento pequeño te pueden servir, los he usado durante horas al 70-80% de su capacidad de presión sonora y en ningún momento se han escuchado forzados ni baja el rendimiento, obviamente dandoles su mantenimiento adecuado.

Amazing sound clarity. These are my 1st monitor speakers i ever bought for my home studio setup. I compared to the Yamaha HS5 which sounded a bit harsher in the midrange and not as clear in the bass. I love the JBL's clarity in the mids and the tight bass. Im not sure about the effectiveness of the trim controls on the back, for now just leave both on 0 as that's when the sound is mostly flat and balanced to my ear. Oh and to everyone that complained this listing is a SCAM and that you only get ONE speaker... i had no such problem. Mine came as a pair. Best bang for your buck i think for quality monitors

I recently purchased the JBL Professional 305P MkII studio monitors they are an excellent choice for anyone setting up a home studio or upgrading from basic speakers. I had the Yamaha HS5. I upgraded to the Yamaha HS8. Loved them both dearly. I needed more desk space so I sold the HS8. I bought these and they sound really good. I got a great price on the pair and they perform better than expected. Compared to the Yamaha HS5, I would be happy with either. They both excel.
