C-Band LNBF C1W-PLL - Phase Lock Loop Wideband LNB

The product arrived much faster than expected. Have now tested the LNBF and it works very well with a much higher output than my previous LNBF. Pleased with the item so far.

I have LNB's that have never failed and still work. They were replaced ONLY because this one provides a higher signal level. That's the good part. But unfortunately with these LNB's I have to replace them almost yearly. The last one got intermitant before eventually failing completely. It would be nice if this one lasts longer than a year. We'll see...

I bought this as a backup while troubleshooting some issues with my receiver and preferred lnb+feed combo. Although the C1W-PLL was 500kHz off-frequency as seen at my receiver, it was stable and unwavering, even when faced with a 40 degree swing in ambient temperature over the course of a day. The sunken cap at the mouth of the feed horn seems chintzy at first but it makes sense once it has made it through the rain. No more water in the feed horn! I saw no errors, neither corrected nor uncorrectable, on the 30Msps 1/3 QPSK DVB-S2 signal I was interested in.

I I have compared it with others that I have and use in C band with my 3 parabolic antennas of 1.8m, 2.2m and 2.4m, it seems to me of acceptable quality, but not to give it 5 stars.

Great LNBF, I have a few of these and they work real well. The seller is also very good, this is one of those rare companies that have outstanding customer service and actually know all about the products they sell, so they have the knowledge to help you if you do have a problem.

Purchased it September 9th 2019 March 4th 2020 it no longer works. I’m clueless as to why as I bought it for the titanium satellite name as I normally have great service with their equipment. This left a bad taste in my mouth to say the least. My reicever and all are still working perfectly when I tried them with an old lnb

ARRIVED ON TIME - AS ADVERTISED - WORKS FINE

I purchased this LNB to receive a terrestrial 3.4GHz ham radio TV repeater. The LNB arrived in a reasonable time considering it had to travel across the world. The product is excellent, as you would expect from a PLL device it's stable, but also the LO is low on phase noise which is important for my use case. The only thing to watch is the cover is not watertight, not a problem for the intended traditional satellite dish mount, but I’ll add a bit of silicone sealant as a work-round for horn mounting without a dish.

Although this works ok I cannot recommend you use it outside. As soon as I took it out of the box the blue end cap fell off. Therefore, it is not waterproof and I am forced to use it indoors. Luckely the signal is strong enough that I dont need to use a dish.

As described and as it should be, used for recieving ham radio tv from local C band repeater.....
