Wish there were length options...
We didn't want to use torch and solder in tight space above ceiling. But the repair section needed more than 5". It fit our 1.25" copper pipe nicely. We had to order a 1" steel nipple between 2 of these couplers, thinking that steel would be less reactive than other materials. No complaints, its a part made right and strong. The repair was a hot water pipe. we experimented with 1" PVC couplers and twice the threads backed out and the repairs failed. So this coupler was exactly right for the job.
