Excellent grip, wide opening, and access in tight places
Exceptionally handy. I have had a pair of these for over twenty years and they have had many uses and have held up. Just bought this new set to accommodate more simultaneous jobs. They are unique and as far as I can tell one of a kind. Other clamps are useful for other things, but nothing grabs as well and as precisely as these. I appreciate the grip, the wide 6 centimeter opening, and the ability to use them in some tight places. Here is a current pic gluing up pieces to a small wooden box under construction.

Seller needs to correct dimensions.
I have several of these and needed some more. Was hoping they weren't 8 inches long per the add info. Several said they were much smaller. So I took a chance and ordered a few. They are in fact the same size I purchased a few years ago and exactly what I was looking for. Mine have yellow on the tip. These have teal. That's the only difference. Some one said in a review they are less than 4" that is not correct. The actual size can be seen on my micrometer as 4 5/16. That's standing it upright on the 2 legs and measuring to the teal tips. I gave them a 4 star rating only due to the fact the seller didn't state the correct size and I took a chance I knew the correct size.

The Item Dimensions are for the cardboard they are attached to, NOT THE CLAMPS!
If the product dimensions are not "bait and switch", I don't know what is? The product Description includes a listing for Product Dimensions of : Item dimensions L x W x H 0.94 x 5.87 x 8.03 inches. THAT IS FOR THE CARBOARD SHEET THEY ARE ATTACHED TO, NOT THE CLAMPS!!! The Clamps seen like they will be long lasting and the quality looks very good, they are just NOT 8.03 Inches Long. They are 4.25 inches long while closed, and with a jaw depth of 2.36 inches. l think they must be Glass Filled Plastic, because I got a glass sliver in my finger whil I was measuring one with my Caliper.

Decent clamp for ,maybe, $2 but not at $8/each. Yeah, I'll keep them as it's not woth my time to return them but caveat emptor as made in Europe Germany?) isn't value received

Careful when soldering
Do not use these near a soldering iron. The little blue gripper thingies instantly melt.

Long nose is helpful
It is hard to find clamps with a long nose, it comes in very handy in gluing things together in model airplanes or any other use.
