These Coils will work as good as the motorcraft.
My 05 Ford Expedition Limited Edition transmission started jerking when going from 35 to 40 miles an hour. After reading and doing some research I started by changing the transmission oil but it only helped a little and went right back to having the same problem. Afterwards I spoke to a friend of mine that works in transmision and we did a road test with a scanner hook up to the computer. He mentioned that this was not a transmission problem and rather a spark plugs problem and to replace them not with aftermarket ones but to use the original. This was a challenging job since they do break as they are being removed but I proceeded to replace all 8 spark plugs. Again the truck ran a little bit better but continue to have the same issues , now the transmission is jerking not only going from 35 to 40 miles an hour but also going from 50 to 65. I continue to use my truck like this for about another year, finally I decided to proceed in change the coils and went on the Amazon website and found these. I wanted to buy the Motorcraft but my budget did not allow to make such expense even though I will be doing the work myself. After reading many reviews on these coils and could not pass up on the price I proceeded to purchase them. My son and I went to work upon receiving the coils and to my surprise finally my truck is running as it once did brand new. I highly recommend these coils, they're inexpensive and have far exceeded my expectations. The job took no more than an hour to change all coils in it has been the best decision.

Just what was needed
Update 12/18/15 I am nearly a year and a half into driving my 07 F150 FX4 with these coils and have to say I made the right choice. Truck fires up first time every time with no misfires or spark issues. I still keep 2 of the original coils in my arm rest just in case but have never had a single issue. Ok. Was nervous buying these coils since all 8 of these for my 07 F150 FX4 cost less than half of the price as one Motorcraft coil from the dealer. These were direct replacements for the original coil and if all you need is the boot if your old boots are worn then the boot is capable of being swapped over to the factory coils. However the spring inside is a larger diameter than the factory spring and does not make solid contact with the blade inside the factory coil head. So they are not a safe replacent for the spring in an old coil pack head. Now I installed these coils on all 8 cylinders on 7/24/24 and they have been working fantastically since day one. I will update this review as time goes along or if one or more of the coils fail in the future but as of right now 8/14/24 could not be happier since I was able to replace all 8 for less than the price of one.

Perfect fit
The ENA 8 Straight Boot Ignition Coils, DG511 compatible coils were installed in my 2006 f150. They were a perfect fit and are functioning fine so far. Paid less for 8 than what it cost for one OEM coil. Very apprehensive about purchasing these, but they look of fine quality and are working fine (haven't driven the vehicle much, yet). I am very happy with the price and the function so far. Will update if there are any changes. Update 10/29/18: I know it hasn't been an extended time since my purchase in August, but wanted to give an update. I just returned from a 1700 mile round trip and my truck ran like a champ. All COPs continue to function as they should and the truck did not suffer from any shutter or missing. I know others have had issues, but to this point I am very happy with the purchase of these and their price. Update 11/7/19: So it's been a little over a year and I recently just returned from my annual trip to Texas. I'm pulling one star from the previous 5 star rating. My f150 started the shuttering/missing on the #4 plug. So, 1 failure in one year. I still think they were worth the price, especially considering the age of the truck and the cost of OEM cops. Update 10/28/22: This will be last update. Cannot complain about this product. No additional failures after tens of thousands of miles. The COPs are still going strong!
