I use this after I shower and wash my face so all my pores are as open as possible. You want to put on a thick enough layer that you'll be able to pull it off easy enough without it just coming apart like tissue paper. It's very easy to put on but it is very sticky and the color is very black. It doesn't stain but it takes a while to wash away any drops of this from the sink or counter. I use it on my problem areas like my nose, the spaces where my glasses press around my face, etc. I've done it on my cheeks a couple times but I feel like you have to do that kind of area a couple times for more to be pulled up and off. My skin stayed visibly clearer where I used this. I'm sure it pulled off some little hairs along with any blackheads but it felt so, so nice pulling it off. You might still need to slash your face clean at the end, I've never been able to get a thick enough coat all around to prevent that. I don't mind at all though. I needed something that would sink deep into my pores, something a little harder than normal face masks that would actually pull deeply from my pores. This is perfect. A new favorite for me for sure.

Update: The allergic reaction went away within 3 hours. The next day, my face was really soft! I loved the product, it really does pull everything! Unfortunately there seems to be an ingredient I am allergic to.

When able to it works great! Doesn’t hurt peeling off, in my opinion. However, it dries out pretty quickly - one of my two I ordered I understood why it was dried out so tossed it and opened a brand new package, expiration still good for two years, etc. but still had to toss it and was mad about it. It had a hood in the foil so it leaked out and dried out at some point UNOPENED. Works great but packaging not so great.

It works so well, already I see less blackheads/white heads. It leaves your skin very soft afterwards. It’s easy to apply, it does smell a bit strong but not as much. Overall, it leaves your face nice and moisturize.

EXCRUCIATING PAIN If I could give this a negative a zero or below rating, I absolutely would. Unless you are a masochist and enjoy the feeling of peeling off an entire layer of your skin, you should not use this. It was like getting a wax on your entire face at one time as it pulled ALL the hair on my face off. Also, I think a warning should be on here if you use Retin-A because this would absolutely pull off your skin & make your whole face raw. 😝 This was like giving yourself a chemical peel. I can’t even remember how much this cost, but I would never use it again even if it was FREE!!! I used another mask that was charcoal & black & it made my skin feel really nice. I thought this was similar but HELL NO!!! I can’t imagine how big your blackheads or pores would have to be for this to be worth this pain! It was like giving myself a will be throwing this away. Or giving it to my worst enemy. I am very worried about what my skin is gonna look like tomorrow because my skin feels raw! DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!

Not working

It pulled out the hairs around the face.Dries fast, very difficult to remove without losing some skin. Very painful removal....

Package broke and all leaked out so only got to use it once. Didn’t really get a great result
