It's low in sodium.

Really delicious and will be buying more! I had these during a trip in Europe and they're very similar.

Love the cookies, just a shame you can only get them around the holidays.

Is not the sellers fault, this cookie was more moist and tasted fresh, I buy it for years.

I was born in Germany while my father was stationed there in the late 1970s. Ever since, my family has had a weakness for German chocolate cookies such as these. This particular variety is one of my 2 favorite kinds overall, which I normally purchase at the local Commissary on base. This year they did not have them for some reason so I checked online, and lo and behold; there they were. They are a bit expensive this way, but every bit as awesome as always!

These are great cookies. I order these cookies every single winter. It is not Christmas without them. However, sending them in a plastic envelope and stuffing them in my mailbox was probably not the best thing to do. The package was completely flattened and I thought I took pictures of it, but I cannot find them to post. Needless to say the cookies were squished and broken, but you cannot return them.

We purchased these because my sister, who now lives in Austria, mentioned chocolate covered gingerbread as a local tasty treat there. We thoroughly enjoyed them, especially the dark chocolate. We will probably get some more for next Christmas.

They are delicious. Delivered quickly. A little pricey. A special treat.
