What do you do if your power button is hard and stuck?

The hole size of the board for the power button is 14 mm * 9 mm The size of the power button is 13 mm * 8.5 mm There are two springs on both sides of the power button. When you insert from the top of the board, the spring will clamp the gap, making the power button firm. When you push the power button from under the board, the spring will contract, making it easy to pull out. I get one assembled and it won't pair with my phone. My phone recognized the speaker but won't connect to it. How do I pair it?

Fixed a friends. First --- get the phone far away or turn it off. as in no power. Turn off the bluetooth as well. Wait 30 seconds --- this is to give time for things to climb out of ram memory. Now -- power up phone, power up speaker.. Should work. If not -- power off the speaker, power up, and see if it connects.

How does it work all mine does is make a funny tapping sound when i turn it on

AMAZING LITTLE SPEAKER!

This 'build yourself' blue tooth speaker is simply amazing! It was a lot of fun to put together with knowing that it was something you built all by yourself. The instructions were very comprehensive and easy to understand. The materials are very sturdy and of exceptional quality. And the sound is absolutely superior for a speaker of its size. It's crystal clear even when turned all the way up. The compact size of this speaker makes it perfect to place anywhere when you need a little music in your life. Unexpected surprise

Good gift! Even an audiophile dad approved

Got this for my niece for the holidays! She is 10 and was able to assemble most of it on her own, with a little help from Dad. Her audiophile father said “ It sounds pretty good for a basic speaker ” which is high praise coming from him! Definitely worth considering!

Great Sound but

Great sound and educational. So why the low rating, the amount of work needed to make it work. There was no continuity of circuit in the positive (red) wire attached to the on-off switch. The paper says that if I have a problem I should contact the company and my problem would be fixed in 24 hours. However, there was no contact information - doh? I initially thought about returning the device but I really wanted it for my weekend project so figured probably easier and less time to fix - not true. I had to pry out the positive metal piece from battery compartment, desolder, re-solder, and re-install the metal component. So setting it up proved more difficult than I imagined. I also hate the fact that there is no cover on the battery pack. Hey it works now, I like the sound, wish it was a little smaller
