Guineas like it
I switched to these pellets because I wanted to feed the girls something premium. They also didn’t really care for the previous brand. They seem to like this better. They’re well-nourished and healthy on this feed, so I’m going to stick to it. It’s to supplement hay, fruits, and vegetables.

Molasses high on the list
Unfortunately molasses appear higher in the ingredients list. I suspect that is why my guinea pigs relish these pellets. Alas, molasses are not good for them. It's a bummer because I like the timothy hay from Small Pet Select and assumed their pellets can be trusted too.

Initial impressions-high quality pellet with important nutritional value
I have had several guinea pigs over the years and also have worked in the animal industry since 2003. I have seen a large variety of guinea food pellets and Small Pet Select Store Guinea Pig Pellets look like highly condensed and high-quality pellets. If I had to choose by appearances alone between other pellets, this would be a top choice. It looks like a high-quality pellet (thin, compact, fresh, shiny outside, fresh color of green). I recently adopted a female 2-year-old Abyssinian. I have been feeding her the pellets over the last few weeks and she eats them but slowly and without as much enthusiasm as I expected. However, the same is true for the lower quality food that she arrived with. We are still getting used to "Theona's" preferences. I will continue to use and update with time. I will continue to assess the pellets and update in time.

Good nutrition and yummy
I feel good about feeding my boys food that nourishes their bodies and that they enjoy eating. Well worth the price!

Disappointed with this order!
I was disappointed to see the box was filled with pellets! Usually when you order it's in a bag..not this order! So I had to repackage it to keep it fresh for my Guinea Pigs! Not sure I order this again!
