Perfect fit

Update Aug 20-22. There was a little confusion GETTING this set of "corks" but they do the job. My log splitter uses a hand-operated hydraulic jack and the aging seal tends to leak a bit (leaks worse if stored horizontal.) - thus it is necessary to "pull the plug" from time to time to add more oil. I have a tendency to get a little rough when removing the plug and it's nice to have spares on hand. Great item, but difficult to install. Surely there must be a tool for that? (How do they install them at the jack factory?) I used a thumb nail to push bottom into hole while rotating the plug with the ball of that thumb. I tired a flat screw driver, but that risked cutting the rubber, One person suggested putting plug in a freezer for about ten minutes - I'll try that next time.

Works great! Good fit, good value, saved money by fixing the problem.

Good product for its use

These are just what I needed for my cherry picker. Fit perfect, can't beat the price. I went to my auto parts store to find these before I looked at Amazon and for just two they wanted $10.00 so I looked at Amazon and found them for less then $5.00 and I got ten of them. Can't beat that. They feel strong not too soft.

Somewhere along the line the plug fell out on my bottle. Jack and I lost oil in the bed of my truck and it was a total mess. I thought I was going to have to throw the jack away. I went to several hardware stores nobody had the plugs we tried to come up with other solutions and improvise a plug and even doing that they leaked. Just for the heck of it, I got on Amazon to see if there was even replacement plugs for hydraulic jacks and there were tons of options. I went with this one and it was a perfect fit and I have no leaks plus now I have some extras in case I run into this problem later on down the line. I probably have at least 10 bottle jacks so I can always keep these as spares.

Easy to install work well on sealing

Quality control is lacking. Overall will do the job a few will end up thrown away.

These plugs fit nice and tight and don't leak. It was a little hard to get in but with the help of a small screw driver it went in. I just wish that I didn't have to buy so many. I only needed ONE and maybe one more as a spare. Anyway, my son has 2, by brother has 2 and my buddy next door has one. AND IT DIDN'T COST THEM A CENT.
