This was exactly what we needed. We had the common problem of the backup camera having significant video interference on screen when the engine was on. Spliced this filter in between the camera and the reverse light power source and the picture is crystal clear at all times.

There is nothing even close to sealing moisture and dust out like claimed.There is a tube over the unit just inside of outer foam. The ends are wide open, can even see the inside components.I used dielectric grease to seal the ends.Drove vehicle today it did nothing for my camera problems. lines across screen, screen rolling. Sometimes good screen picture sometime not no difference after installing this device.

Small enough to just tape or zip tie it to the wiring harness to the rear lights.

The media could not be loaded. Installed this on a 2001 Ford Escape. Previously the noise was so bad that the Sony headunit would turn off the video feed most of the time. This filter improved the video quality enough to where that no longer seems to happen but there's still significant noise in the video. I was able to install inside the rear hatch so won't be able to test waterproofing.

Easy install-cleared the picture perfectly. Used with my 10.1 Andriod unit. Without it I could not get the backup camera to work. Read a review saying that itost likely was interference. This fixed the issue!

I was hoping this device would clean up the back up camera picture but it didn't. I returned it for a refund.
