I upgraded my tablet recently, and found that the charging cable supplied was very different to my previous model. The last tablet had USB A to Lightning port cables whereas the new one was supplied with USB C TO USB C cables. This meant that the good quality charging plugs I’d purchased over time for work and in the car were no longer compatible, but I still needed to hang onto them for my other devices. Although I could have purchased new USB C charging plugs and cables and have two different charging solutions in the car and at work, this pack of four adapters has given my existing chargers a new lease of life, allowing me to continue using my existing charging plugs in the car and at work but at a fraction of the cost and I can also still use them for my other USB A devices too. They have a great positive fit, seem well made and I’ve had no issues with them whatsoever. Every product I review is one I have purchased myself. I bought this as I recently got a new iPad which has the new type charging cable which I could no longer sync it with my MacBook. I also recently got a new android phone which was a free upgrade from my network provider and although it has the new type cable, it didn’t have a plug with it. This adapter works well for both items. I can use it to adapt a usb type plug and also sync my iPad. Very good value for money,

If like me you've just upgraded your phone and discovered the cable the phone comes with is USB C to USB C then these are great. Nothing (literally nothing) I own uses USB C apart from the new phone and so a cable with that connector on both ends is about as useful as an underwater hairdryer. So after spending £20(!) on a plug from the phone manufacturer to allow me to actually charge the new phone I wondered how I will plug it into the car (for Android Auto) and discovered these. These do the job perfectly, small but strong and robust feeling and the USB C cable fits in snugly without any wobble. For the price I would definitely recommend and having 3 gives the flexibility to leave them plugged in to the places you might want to use them like a car/PC USB socket or even an old charger plug. I must say I haven't tried them on an old charger so I can't say for certain if this will work but I can't see why it wouldn't.

Impressed with this quality adapter Many cables nowadays are USB-C connector on both sides, while the chargers and some old devices still using usb A port. Then you will need this adapter to convert a type c cable to a normal one. I buy this adapter for my phone. This tiny USB c female to USB male adapter is exactly what I am looking for. It solved my problem perfectly. I tried it on power bank and USB A port in the car. Although this adapter do not support fast-charging as it described but it works great. I also plugged it on my laptop to sync photos and files from phone, data transferring is stable and fast. They are so compact and portable. I can keep them connected on my cable, laptop and bring to everywhere, like using the car charger and USB A port in some public area.

Handy for travelling. We've used these on planes, trains and abroad. Also good for a car that only has a usb port but not a type c.

This product is well made with a great finish, however it fits very tightly in the usb-a port. Arguably too tightly. After inserting then removing from a port on my motherboard it ripped out the plastic divider from the half of the port. This left the contact pins exposed and if I plugged anything into this port it would cause my computer to crash. After bending the contacts back and managing to slide the plastic divider back on, it works but this adapter needs to remain in the port so I have essentially traded a usb-a port for a usb-c port on my motherboard which is much better than it could have been. Just be careful when removing it.
