Looks better than the original clock face. I bought this clock face to replace an antique wind-up chiming clock that had stopped working years ago. Since I couldn't find a clock repair shop, this clock face insert was the next-to-perfect alternative. I wanted something that had an antique looking face and fancy hour/minute hands. I wasn't sure if it would fit, but since it has the clips, it popped right in the opening. Runs on one AA battery. I just wish that it had chimes. The second photo shows the original clock face next to the clock. I am very satisfied with this purchase, plus it was delivered quickly.

Good replacement for my existing clock. Does not quite fit inside all the way, but could not find another one that fit better.

I had an old wooden mantal clock that stopped working. The clockworks in it were a plastic, battery powered clock. This new one is soooo much prettier than the old face. The measurements in the description were spot on, so it fits like a glove. Very easy to install, just popped right in. It looks so fancy! I can't believe I was able to upgrade the looks of my living room at such a low price.

Purchased a little clock form but the "clock part" was missing. Needed to fill it with a new insert. It took a few minutes to figure out what size to order. This one worked perfectly and looks nice. I'm not sure that other knew what it was without the clock insert, lucky me I figured it out. Love my new clock

There are many sizes of these clock faces, so I was (figuratively) holding my breath until this clockwork arrived. Not a problem. Its size is exactly as described, so it fit perfectly into the ceramic stand. It has been running for about 36 hours and has maintained perfect time. The brilliant gold color of the surround sets it off really nicely. All the numerals on the clock face are clear and easy to read. I like everything about this item -- including the price.

Great replacement for a 1930s windup which has not been working for years and the cost of simply looking at it was astronomical! This is the only one which I thought was a good fit with the age with the Roman numerals. It is strange that I could only find one from America and very nearly didn’t buy it for that reason. Very impressed with the delivery time though and looks lovely in the old oak casement and my dad is very pleased to finally have a clock that works. Obvious it is all plastic but still looks good. Would recommend.
