its a usb-lightning connector...
its a standard cable that is req'd to connect to an ipad with an lightning port. length is key if you're using the table holder. the "C" end is secure in the controller so ive had no problem with it slipping out actually quite the opposite and have had a bit of difficulty removing it from the port because it is so secure which can be annoying if i want to switch to using a phone with a usb port on it. its durable so far cant really complain about anything oh yeah and it fits when you coil it around the antenna thing to store it just like the stock cables that come with the drone. value for money? well i guess because its req'd if you are going to use a tablet unless you want to lug around a full size cable like comes with a tablet (but you cant store that on the RC)

iPad for monitor
I bought this so that I could use my IPad for a monitor for my Dji drone. It’s just the right size for my 10” IPad. Just know that you have to by an extension to mount the IPad to the controller. No problems with this cord in over a year. Works perfectly for my needs.

iPad? You need one of these.
If you're trying to use an iPad in any sort of tablet holder with a Mavic Air 2, you're going to find that the supplied cable is just barely too short to work. This cable works very well with an iPad in a PGYTech tablet mount. No connection issues, the ends are overmolded to resemble the supplied DJI cable, and it fits in the same storage slot - wrapping twice around the cavity instead of just the once, but it fits.

The woven cloth outer sheath is much workable and easier to wrap around the controller antenna for storage than the hard plastic sheathed cables, thus resulting with less strain on the cable and less chance for failure.
