Staub 4 Qt. Round Cocotte-cherry Red

Just got this pot and am already in love with it. I bought it to replace a cuisinart that had a porcelin lining that stained horribly and was not easy to clean. This one is a dream, great size and has become my favorite pot.

We've used this dutch oven for almost a year now and we still love using it. Because the interior is black, it sometimes shows minor color changes if the previous dish cooked was rice-based. But the stain can be cleaned off if you want to do that, using info that Staub customer service will provide you with. It also self-cleans the next time you use it. When the pot is full, it is heavy, so it provides good arm-muscle conditioning, which at age 75 I appreciate. Love the color and the way it helps cohere flavors of stews, etc. And Staub customer service answered all my questions on how to use and care for it.

I’ve never had a Dutch oven before. It is versatile, easy to clean, and turns out the crispiest salmon ever! Am working my way through various dishes in the Staub cookbook I bought to use with it. This cast iron pot is a real winner.

Perfect. Hard to say anything that hasn't been said about the quality and all-round terrrificness of Staub Cocottes. Simply the best. Got a great deal on this from Amazon warehouse. I think it was a customer return. Came in the original box with all the original tags and stickers at a huge discount. Be sure to check under used items for Amazon Warehouse deals.

This is a great product. I purchased 2 and they both get great use.

This pot is very nice but it is way bigger that 4 quarts.
