These combs are so good and so heat resistant that I’ve had them for quite some time now! I definitely reccomend these ones!!!(

They're sturdy, do not bend or twist during use. Yet there's a little flexibility to them (not like those cheap hard plastic combs that break easily). Part of why I chose these, being African-American, is for the versatility. You can take down braids, get underneath a rubber band to remove it, pick up threads for weaves/sew ins, and these combs make great straight parts for styling. Best combs ever!! Great value as well.

These are a great value! I actually only needed one but how could I turn down this deal. They should have long-lasting heat resistance if used around a blow dryer, and are super sturdy, and durable. Happy with this pack as the combination offers more versatility than most. I doubt you'll be disappointed when purchasing these.

The profile says these are carbon fiber combs, but quite honestly I can't tell the difference between these and other plastic combs I have or have used previously. Have had these for a while and honestly there are more combs in this package than you might need in a non commercial situation. If you are a hair stylist or make up artist I think these might work well when you outside the salon on a job and as they are inexpensive, you won't be upset when one walks away or is lost. They've proven to be pretty durable in our in home use and I actually ended up giving 4 of the combs away to friends who needed replacements for ones they lost. Maybe it's the carbon fiber, but they are very light and I've found that the tines have not bent nor twisted with time/use. I don't use them with a hair dryer, so haven't subjected them to higher heat, but now after many months of use, they look the same as when I first unpackaged them. I'm happy with the purchase. The only thing I'd warn is that if you like or require a bit more heft in your combs, the light weight of these won't work. For general use, they certainly have done the trick for us.

I bought these for cutting my boys' hair. Much sturdier then the cheap-o combs at the dollar store. These will last me a while. Not disappointed.
