First let me say I am usually unimpressed and mostly disappointed with all touch up paint. 90% of the time the paint doesnt match or it just globs on and looks worse than the scratch that needs to be fixed. This time though, I am happy with this kit. The paint matches dead on with my BMW X5M, and the cloth and leveler work great as long as you follow the directions and know going into it multiple coats will be needed the fully fill the scratch. Overall I am very happy I went with this kit as it has worked out great and I cant see the scratch on my tailgate anymore.

The color matches up really well with my car (Aventurin Red Metallic). I ended up using what I think are better brushes to get the paint on without appearing to bulge. Otherwise, 5 stars. I've used this brand on 3 or 4 other cars and they always match well.

Firstly, I haven't found a touch up paint that doesn't dry lumpy, none that I've ever had to try dry smooth. After a valet managed to rub the corner of the bumper on a 1 week old 3 series white BMW leaving a nice black gash and scratches, I thought I would try this kit, because of the "blending" option. The description and instructions make it sound easy, but, as with many of the other reviews, the "blending" just removes almost all of the touch up paint. I tried several times, different techniques, less blending solution, different edges of the foam insert, it didn't matter, out the paint came from the scratches. The worst damage, a 2 inch by 1/2 inch gash on the corner edge became a bit of a nightmare as a result. Touch up paint never dries smooth, the edges are always either above the existing paint or below, I thought this blending option would make that look a bit better, but its a waste of time and effort, the thinners that is the "blending agent" just removes too much paint. Ended up with an OK look as long as there's no light shining on the paint damaged area, and you don't look too hard or too long. Also re-touched a couple of spots/scratches on the hood that the previous owner had tried to touch up. Color match was acceptable, naked eye is not a match, but after wax and stepping back a bit further it worked to cover the damage. Other products without the "blending" option probably work just as well. Without the paint shop sanding and polishing, these touch up products are really only good for small stone chips.

A very impressive kit with more helpful tools and advice than expected

Product arrived promptly with easy-to-follow Instructions. Fast and easy fix for a few minor scratches on right back side of my BMW. Perfect match and Literally Undetectable!! Highly recommend for minor scratches.

Directions say shake well but the tiny bit of paint was thick as old peanut butter. The way too large brushes stick to the paint and pull away with a long string of paint. The paint looked ok as dark gray metallic until I applied the “blending solution”, then it turned flat light gray. I’ll throw their $28 box in the trash and start all over with something / anything else.

Perfect match for my 22 year old BMW. Blown away by the quality of this paint. Bought touch ups for my whole fleet after I saw how good this order turned out.

Don’t waste your time. Brushes are garbage, paint doesn’t match. Don’t cheap out as your car will look like crap. Will have to bring it in and get it professionally removed and redone
