nice for the price and everyday use
i have two of these one in lime and in royal blue. both are alittle on the faded side but thats okay for every day use and they are bigger then i thought they would be. only thing is the amazon price is like twice what i paid on horse.com . the hprse.com price is like 5.99. and it isnt wool it is a 50/50 mix of acrylic and polyester but it feels like cotton.

Functional
It is a thin, acrylic blanket, but the colors are vibrant. We purchased as an inexpensive way for my 9 year old to use over her pad without adding too much bulk when she wants to change up the colors for fun. Too small to use for showing IMO, her pad has a tendency to peek out around the edges. But great for our purpose! When not in use we use them over saddles to keep dust off.

Not 55%wool. False advertising
You advertise that this is 55% wool but if you look at the label it says polyester and acrylic.Not one single thing about wool.That is false advertising.

Not made out of wool “India” all polyester acrylic
It’s definitely not wool. Definitely not 55% wool. Very very cheap I’m updating my review to show it is actually marked 80% acrylic 20% polyester. Not sure if there’s any difference really between acrylic and polyester but it’s not wool it would not function as a real saddle blanket and it is definitely not as described and overpriced. I’m very unhappy I ordered an item that I thought was 55% wool a nice quality saddle blanket and I waited a while for it to arrive. You can see it’s also marked Indianapolis, but also made in India LOL

Sierra Saddle Blanket Good.
Purchased for my 7 year old puppy (LOL). Not as thick as I would want but it does get the job done. The dog keeps in his dog house until he wants to lay on the backyard concrete, he'll take it out of the dog house and spread it on the concrete to lay. Smart dog.

Good for teaching. Not for riding
Not very thick. Doesn't fit properly. And slides waaay too easilyIts great as a training blanket to teach kids how to tack up. How to bridge and explain the western latigo. But i wouldn't recomend riding with it
