Great paddle, very lightweight
I had an aluminum shaft paddle that I’ve been using for the past couple of years, but my arms and shoulders would always be so tired when i would kayak. A friend showed me her Werner paddle which I was really impressed with how light it was until I found out they were over $400. So I starting searching for carbon fiber paddle that were not quite as expensive. I found a few but settled on this one for the price and weight. I went out today for the first time with the paddle and I was very pleased with how it cuts through the water and that my shoulders and arms were not aching when I finished.

Very sharp looking well made paddle. The blades are sturdy and long. Very light and very strong

Excellent, lightweight paddle with all the looks.
I really like the feel of this paddle. Just enough texture to the carbon shaft and it’s super light. It enters and exits the water smoothly and quietly and the infinite adjustability (within the range) is perfect to get it just right. As you can see in the second and third photo, they thicken and reinforce the tips of the blades which is nice to see and gives me even more peace of mind from a durability standpoint. This is very well built and a joy to use... not to mention the graphics, which I got a couple of compliments on, look awesome.

Light weight - Nice Paddle
I love this lightweight durable paddle. It is my first paddle purchase. I found the value for the money to be inline for others with deigns. I find it comfortable in my hands when kayaking. I would have given it 5 stars except the design while I like it is lighter than I expected. It is still a nicer paddle than a plain one if you are wanting to stand out.

Awesome Paddle: Light, well made, adjustable
This is my favorite paddle - better than a Werner costing nearly twice as much. The handle is carbon fiber, light and sturdy. The two halves are joined by a clamp that allows easy, continuous adjustment of length and feather angle. The blades are high-quality fiberglass, light and stiff, with graphics on one side.

Beautiful, well-made, lightweight paddle
My wife and I have been kayaking for a few years, and didn't give much thought to the type of paddle we were using. We paddled with othes who used very expensive brands like Werner for $400+, but that wasn't in our budget or inclination. Wal-mart paddles were fine... until I tried a friend's Hornet paddle. Holy... What a difference, and a revelation. The price is very reasonable for a superb-quality paddle. Lightweight, easy-to-paddle, well-designed. We love them. And, to our delight, Hornet even replaced a damaged shaft at no cost almost two years after our purchase. Highly recommended.

Just okay. Very cool artwork though!
I really like the lightweight idea and the artwork that went into this paddle. The artwork is only on one side, which is okay. I like that you can adjust the length. Personally, I prefer a Much fatter scoop. I felt like I was paddling with a pencil. The lightweight was, for me, noticeably overridden by the increased effort needed to propel by boat in any direction. Luckily, the length could be shortened and my girlfriend likes it. In my opinion, it's a beautiful piece but the "artwork needs a bigger canvas!"

Lightweight!
Super lightweight. Not sure if it makes a big difference in paddling to justify the price, but I enjoy it and its really cute
