Mission: Impossible TV Series Blu-Ray review
To be clear, this is a review for the Blu-Ray set released in December 2020. The first thing to discuss is the packaging. It's not a crazy display case, but an easy to store box. I will say that the materials for the packaging do feel a little flimsy. The slipcover in particular just feels delicate/thin. The interior box that holds the seasons feels a bit sturdier. Each season is in a fold-out cardboard package. The quality on these is nice; sturdier than the slipcover. The seasons are stacked on one another, which is fine, but it does mean you'll have to remove all the previous seasons to get to the one you're looking for. All in all, it's not bad packaging, and it seems like it might be a little better than the older DVD release. Now to what you're actually going to be interested in. The transfers look FANTASTIC. Great quality, both video and sound. Well worth the wait to get these on Blu-Ray. This is where my 5 star review is coming from: for what the purpose of this box set is, it delivers. I haven't gotten through all season/episodes yet, but so far I've been very impressed with the quality. One thing to note is the lack of special features. There's no commentary, or any other special features on any disk, so just be aware that you're paying purely for the episodes. If you are a fan of the original series, this is a great box set -- crisp, clear transfers. Just be aware that the packaging is a little on the weak side, and that there are no special features.

Good Series
This is great series, As a kid I was not permitted to watch this program because it was aired to late for a kid to be up. My parents watched it all the time, and every now and then we (kids) would get a peek of it. I have since seen a few episodes of it and decided I wanted to view the entire series. I like what I have seen so far. This did not come with a listing of the episodes which seems weird and this is the first time I purchased a series and it did not list the episodes. I had to find a list on line. For that reason I give it 4 stars.

MI Complete TV Series Blu-ray Review
Blu-ray HD video quality is great. It's a huge improvement from DVD editions. I also own Mission: Impossible - The Complete Series DVD and I watched these episodes many times on DVD. Today, I opened the Blu-ray box set, watched the Season 1, Disc 1 episodes and here's my thoughts: Pros: HD video quality is a huge improvement from DVD edition (you should ignore the reviewers who say blu-ray video is the same as DVD; they either have bad eyesight or bad TV). Is the HD video quality immaculate? No. There are some damages to the print but they are very negligible. Those types of minor print damages exist in pretty much any TV series converted to blu ray and I own tons of them so I know (Charlie's Angels, Miami Vice, etc.). Original TV Series DVD Season 1 did not have subtitles. Blu-ray disc does have subtitles, and not just English (French and Deutch as well) Cons: I don't particularly have a problem with the packaging design. Actually, I like this kind of packaging where the sleeves are half-cut and it's easy to slide the disc in and out of the sleeves (I attached some pictures as reference). I have no problem with the folded design either. Some reviewers complain about them being too loose. I say it's better too loose than too tight. My only complaint is that the some of the sleeves were damaged and slightly torn off (I also added photos to show those damages). This is brand new purchase so they must have happened during manufacturing or maybe during the process of inserting the discs which, I suspect, were hand-inserted. One other minor grievance is that the way the bundles are stacked, you won't be able to have access to all 7 seasons at once. You will have to remove each season to get to the bottom of the stack for other seasons. This is a very minor inconvenience. There are no special features either but then again there were no special features on the DVD editions either. If you own the Complete TV Series DVD box set for which I provided the link, it also included 88 and 89 seasons of the show. This is only the original TV series that ran for 7 seasons and does not include the 88 and 89 seasons (since they are not considered "original"). So this won't be a truly complete Mission Impossible TV Series for the completists fans.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it
I’d actually watched this when it was included in Amazon’s Prime Streaming services (got to season four before it was pulled and didn’t want to purchase each season individually) and decided to look into getting the dvd box set. That said, I did enjoy the premise of each show, like recovering vital information from an unfriendly government or rescuing an ally from peril. It’s a great show and worth every cent. What helped for me was that Amazon had a challenge with their Audible side (complete three audiobooks of at least three hours) and get a $20 credit for items sold and fulfilled by Amazon and this item was part of it. It’s a great show to binge watch, especially since people are self-isolating or in quarantine from the Covid-19 virus. As I’m sure it was true during the show’s run and now, one has to wonder how would the team will execute the plan for the mission at hand.

ALL EPISODES INCLUDED
In response to R. Young's review which states there are episodes missing: This is not true. I have done a careful comparison of episodes listed on Wikipedia and IMDB.com and the product listings as well as the discs themselves: ALL EPISODES ARE INCLUDED. The one specific episode mentioned, Season 1 episode 5, is not missing. This is Part 2 of a 2-part episode. Part 1 is the last episode on Disc 1 and Part 2 is the first episode on Disc 2. I'm not sure why someone would post this misinformation before double checking but that seems to be the case. As mentioned in many other reviews, the picture and audio quality are great, a big improvement over the DVDs. The packaging doesn't matter to me as I put all discs in CD cases and recycle the packaging. My only quibble: Why so many discs? There are 6 or 7 discs per season when 4 would have sufficed. The Star Trek series on Blu-ray are the same but there is a lot of bonus material there that is missing on the MI set. Seems like an unnecessary expense that is passed on to us.
