My 8 year old grandaughter has done 1 page a day for the last 8 weeks (she's run out of pages!). She says 'I like it because the pages are colourful and fun, and I like the layout. At the end of each page I can get a sticker and it makes me want to do more.' Also I'd say that the sums are a good range and each page builds on the last so that the content is linked and progressive. The progress tests are a good indicator. Worth the money.

Brilliant. Doesn't necessarily teach them, it just teach their knowledge and That's where I come in to teach them how to do it and see what they retain. It's a great combination of maths.

I really like this series of books, they answer a need for preparing students for this aspect of testing but in a fun and colourful way, and, however "grown-up" they are, they love the reward stickers, which are novel and unusual.

Much better than some of his other mental maths books. It's much more challenging and very varied. Great starter for a maths class
