Does exactly what I needed
Does exactly what it says and did the job well. I’m really happy with this purchase. I used it to stop the clanging in the vent above my oven - on windy days, the flaps above the vent motor would make a banging noise. This seems to have completely eliminated it. You’ll notice I used a bit of foam to create a tight seal; my roof vent pipe was a very odd 10.75” in diameter, so I got the 10” unit and added the padding. Works great!

Looks like it seals really well. Too bad it was made in Russia.
I'm making a hood for my exhaust fan. This should be a good backdraft stopper.
