The quality of the kit is impressive, it's well-made, durable, and surprisingly sturdy once put together. Clear instructions. It was fun building and learning more of hydraulics work. Works well after build. Yes, while I am older it would be good for older kids and young teens as well as adults it seems.

CONSTRUCT & CREATE Hydraulic Cyborg Hand Kit An amazing construction kit, I was looking for a project to do and found this kit on Amazon, it looked very interesting. On opening the box I was very impressed with the quality and build of the parts to be assembled. All parts are easily identifiable, colour coded and numbered. The instruction manual is a great example of how one should be written, easy to read and understand, a joy to read. All parts are easy to remove from the frames and fit together, assembly is easy to follow and surprising how few screws are required to hold it all together and allowing the mechanics to operate. Having been in engineering most of my working life I was intrigued to see how the hydraulic system would work, it did and is brilliantly simple. This is an excellent way for youngsters to learn about STEM (science, technology, engineering and mechanics) I am not easily impressed but this did impress me. At less than £30.00 I rate this product five stars and a bargain!!

Bought for nearly 10 year old, building it was enjoyable but needed adult supervision and snippers to remove from the plastic frame. Daughter loves the finished product and enjoys trying to pick things up with it. It seems sturdy once built and managed to pick up a nice range of objects. The use of the thumb requires a tricky syringe type mechanism which she has to use her other hand for - not a barrier to use but a bit more thought for the lower end of the age recommendation would make it more functional and accessible. I don't think we're at significant risk of making a Terminator with this, but it was overall pretty fun and engaging and opened up some great discussions.

I wondered if my 12yr old would engage or find this a it young. After the initial cajoling to get going, he really got into it. (He is a model building fan anyway so that probably helps). Easy to do, clear instructions, engaging, no fuss and is being played with afterwards. The turning button in the middle doesn't quite work, but not sure if that is a building or product issue. Happy Mom.

Some parts were a bit delicate, so younger kids might need some help, but overall, it was a great introduction to STEM concepts. Highly recommend and value for money.

Spent a few days over the holidays building this with my 9 year old son. Wasn’t too difficult and really fun to connect the hydraulic system. You’ll need a few simple tools and in the end he has a cool toy that he can be proud of. Great purchase.

Parts are not made accurately

Absolutely amazing robotic hand. My 8yr old loves it! It was quite difficult to put together though, it took a fair few hours but the result is definitely worth it!

Je l'ai acheté pour mes enfants de 7 ans et, tandis quils découpaient les pièces aux ciseaux (je leur dictais les numéros au fur et à mesure), je les ai ébarbées à la pince à ongles et assemblées ; un travail d'équipe. Magie de l'assemblage qui prend forme, magie de la pression hydraulique mise en pratique, magie de la main une fois accrochée à la leur (mécanisme précu pour), qui permet d'appréhender des objets légers... environ 2 heures d'assemblage assez bien expliqué, que du bonheur. Les pièces sont bien moulées, précises.
