SexyHair Big Dry Shampoo | Remove Oils and Impurities | Provides Additional Volume | All Hair Types

My good friend is a licensed cosmetologist and has been doing my hair for years. She recommended this spray product to me after I had given up on my search for a reasonably priced and decent dry shampoos. I have medium length, thin hair (but a lot of it!). Using dry shampoo is a great way to extend the life of *most types and styles of hair. We are all different and results may vary but I have found this product to be one of the best dry shampoos that I have ever used and it is definitely mid-range priced to comparable dry shampoos. I have easily gotten 2-3 days worth of style out of my hair since using this product (without washing) although, day 2 and 3 are days where I usually pin my hair up ;) I love that this product takes the oil right out of my roots (and believe me, I get oily!) and adds dryness, volume, and a light fresh scent (I've been told that I smell amazing by numerous people after using this product!). Again, tastes in scent will vary but to me, this is one of the best smelling dry shampoos out there! I definitely suggest getting a sample sized bottle to try first if you are hesitant about the results just so that you can see how your hair reacts with this product. Personally, I've found that it is a life/timesaver!! My other go-to product from this company is the "Powder Play" which adds unbelievable volume (with additional backcombing) to your hair and also works as a dry shampoo in powder form.

I love this stuff! it makes my hair full and so pretty, even second day hair! and it is very easy to use! it does not weigh my hair down, or make it greasy/oily looking, or messy... I really like this, and have been using it often, and I will always make sure to have at least an extra bottle for when I run out, I cant find it at the salon or in stores here, so I will have to be ordering it on here, and make sure I always have it! it is great to use to give your hair a change in style, if you are going out for the evening and don't have time or want to wash your hair, or just to give your hair a pick me up for the evening, or even midday if you need it! also for second day hair, if you are in a rush, or for whatever (many) other reasons that you need to use it, it works wonders! I recommend it to everybody, even guys could use this if they wanted to...

This dry shampoo smells great, gives volume and it doesn’t leave a white residue behind. I also use the hair spray of this brand, it gives great volume but the hair spray has a chemical smell that I don’t like. Surprisingly, the dry shampoo of this same brand smells nice and fresh. My favorite dry shampoo!

Dry shampoo works great if you use it right after you shampoo/blow dry. Use it on CLEAN hair, spray at roots, at the scalp, sectioned off like your hairdresser does with on the scalp hair color. As long as you use this before your hair has the chance to get oily, your hair will look clean for 3 days. Not kidding. I was in the hospital for 72 hours and looked fresh as a daisy. A few nurses on that floor asked me how my hair looked so good, asked what I used and then they ordered it from Amazon. I do not like the scent at all but I wear lovely perfume to mask the odor. I prefer “perfect hair day” dry shampoo but it cost twice as much per ounce, so this is def my 2nd favorite dry shampoo. I have long hair past my bra strap, it’s heavily foiled, and there is no way I’m washing this freakin nightmare every day. Try this dry shampoo, it’s works well. If you hate it send it back for a refund. It’s not white or chalky, so it won’t leave “snow” on your dark clothing or on everything in your bathroom.

I've been using this dry shampoo for years and swear by it. I typically only wash my hair once or twice a week and this is without a doubt the main product that gets me through the last couple of days without looking like a total grease ball. It's important to note that if you like a dry shampoo that only absorbs oil and doesn't leave any type of product feel, this is NOT the product for you. This is equal parts dry shampoo and volumizing product - it's going to give your hair a good amount of grip to both absorb oil and keep your hair from being flat. It can build up in your hair so I tend to only use it every other day unless I'm really trying to stretch my blowout, but that's always enough to keep my hair looking fresh. I'll also spray it in my ends occasionally to give them some texture.

I was very disappointed in this product. I have used other things in the Sexy Hair line and been very happy with the results. This was definitely a let down. First off, when I received the can I was very shocked at just how small the can is. I read the description but didn't register that it was such a small amount. It's about the size of a travel-size can of hairspray. Not worth the $15 that I paid for it. I was expecting more for my money. Second, this stuff STINKS when you use it. The aerosol smell does fade, but in the meantime it made me want to gag, especially since I have a small bathroom. Third, for me the product never seemed to come out evenly. Maybe the can was just clogged, I don't know, but I always got more in some spots and not enough in others. Fourth, I do not like the way this made my hair feel. I have very fine hair, but a lot of it. This stuff made my hair feel dirtier that before I put it in. It's almost that feeling of having too much hairspray in your hair and not washing it for a couple of days. And it also seemed to really weigh my hair down, but that could just be my hair type. I have really long hair and I can't really wash every day because it dries the end of my hair out. Dry shampoo is a novel concept and I'll be trying it again in the future. I just have to say that it won't be this brand.

Isn’t really strong as far as a dry shampoo goes. Takes a lot to make my hair look clean… Not a bad product, just not a great one for me!

I'll start by saying I have super baby fine hair, not quite down to my shoulders. If I don't wash my hair every single day, my hair takes on a greasy, completely flat texture. But I also have very expensive coloring done every six weeks and I don't want to fade my color or damage my hair washing every day. I've tried EVERY kind of dry shampoo on the market, including; DryBar, Batiste, Not Your Mother's, Aveda, Tresemme, and Herbal Essences to name a few. None of those achieved what I desired, to soak up the oil and put some bounce back in. Then I tried Big Sexy and I finally understood what all the guys over dry shampoo was about. I can get away with the days without washing my hair because of this awesome product. I do recommend going very light handed at first, hold up the strands you're spraying and then flip your head upside down and hit it with either a warm or cool blast of your blow dryer, just on medium. Flip back over and voilà! You have sexy beachy hair!! If you didn't quite achieve your effect the first time, just spray some more and shake your head vigorously upside down while running your fingers through it. I'm giving this super detailed review only because of how well this product actually works for me, but also add a rebuttal to other reviews that said it makes your hair stiff and straw like. The first few times I used it, my hair had that texture but it LOOKED fantastic. I finally figured out that I should be holding up the hair to spray it, keep it a good distance away, and most of all use a light touch to start off with. You can always add more, if needed, but if you use too much, you will most certainly have scarecrow hair.
