Have been using it for about a month with packages down to 1 pound up to 75 pounds and it’s right on with the scale at UPS and FedEx stores. Haven’t put anything heavier on it yet.So far, so good.

For light weight packages the floor can be carpet or a rug, or whatever. But for heavier packages it will only be accurate with a hard flat surface like tile or wood. I found it off by 20 pds or something last time I had it on carpet doing a big package. As long as you know that your good.Occasionally it throws off 0.05 here and there, which is acceptable and I believe with the manufacturers accuracy specs for an item with this price. But how often are your packages 2.05 pds? That would be the only time I would worry as the USPS would charge me more. A long time ago I had an accutech, it cost a bit more and the weighing surface was smaller. So I'm happy to buy this cheaper model with a larger weighing surface. It was a gamble, as this seems to be rather no name brand, but it turned out good. I have a larger scale with built in display on the pole, that is a great scale, but cost me 3 times the price of this one, and is not very portable.

I bought this in an urgent situation where I had shipped a bunch of equipment in to an office, used it, and being a new company they had no set up yet to ship things back out. This did the trick and I left it for them to have.It worked well, set up was very easy and the screen reminded me of an old Timex Indigo feature with its back lighting.It worked well and Fedex gave me no hassle on the weights, though I did find that I had to tare more frequently than expected/from past experience with others. Shy of a 5 star on that uncertainty but otherwise worked well and easy to use/set up.

This is a decently accurate scale. For the price, it can't be beat. We regularly ship out orders weighing in at 30lb+, but also need to do parts counts, which requires high accuracy. We have an existing industrial scale that does this well enough, however our volume has increased quite a bit and we needed a scale that could do both accurate part weigh-ins and still take a heavy load - the industrial scale caps at 10lb.This scale works well for our needs- it has a low profile, small footprint and has a display that can be mounted or moved around accordingly, which gives us the ability for customization. Start-up time and calibration is fairly quick, I believe under five seconds, a good three seconds faster than our industrial scale. The display is large and easy to read at a glance, and is also back-lit fairly brightly as well.Highly recommended.

NO AUTO SHUTOFF. The scale will stay on until you shut it off. If your shipping more than 10 items a day in rapid session this will not slow you down. ACCURATE. I have been using the $20 dollar scales for 2 years. For the first week using the Amston I was nervous packages were going to be overweight for the marked postage because I was accustomed to the cheaper scales. The scale probably paid for itself in the first month. WEIGHS OUNCES. Always a worry when buying scales that it will not weigh small stuff. The same format as the accuteck. LIGHTED LCD. If you are used to using the accutecks you are getting the same scale but with out the annoying shutoff and more accurate weighing. No problems for 4 months and going strong.

I really like the size of the platform, the detachable display and the large readout. Problem is it doesn't last. The 1st one I bought I contacted the US representative for Tree. The connected me with the tech guy who said that some units sold here do not have the recommended power supply and that I should contact Scales Outlet to order the correct one. The guy there was very helpful and sent out what he said was the spec'd-out power supply. When it arrived, I opened it and found the exact same power supply that came with the unit from Amazon. Needless to say, it didn't fix the problem. I've had 2 of these units and both have failed. Not recommended.

This scale is HUGE. It's beast! It's perfect for anyone selling on online portals that need to accurately weigh boxes. A Home Depot medium sized box rides outside the edges some, but fits beautifully. It doesn't wiggle around or feel unstable. The display is huge and lights up when you are weighing. I was using an Accuteck ShipPro 110lb scale and it was just too small of a surface space to handle the larger boxes I was sending in. This scale totally replaces it. It's massive in size (way larger than a bathroom scale) so it's not as easily portable, but well worth the extra room. I am so stoked about this scale!

Great scale. I purchased this for selling things online. It is just as accurate as the one at the UPS Customer Center. I always compare the weights they get with the ones I get and it has never been off to the 100th decimal point. I haven't used it long but so far I am very pleased and the price couldn't be beat. One note the display can not be disconnected from the scale for cable routing. I know a lot more expensive scales that are the same way. I just wanted to let people know in case they were not sure.
