Ortho Snake-B-Gon Snake Repellent Granules 2-pack

This is a large container that will last for a long while. I walked around the crawl space and sprinkled the crystals along the walls and then I went outside and sprinkled it all around the perimeter of the house.I got immediate results.

so the smell is a while lot better than other snake repellents that use other chemicals and napthalene (like moth balls) - its like very strong essential oils. im not sure about it repelling snakes, because i did see this 3 foot red king snake going over where i normally pour and then along the pool deck on to out to the trees (they are non venomous so i left it alone), thus the star ding. it could also be that i was late in reapplications (once a week, the bottle lasts me about a month). but i havent seen any rodents, (including squirrels), possums, raccoons, ( i have a preserve behind the house here in florida and my deer cam catches these small animals as well at night) in the areas where i apply, so i guess if the snake hasnt anything to eat in that applied area they go find someplace else.. so works in a roundabout way. My neighbor by the way has found a large black water snake and a water moccasin/cottonmouth in his patio a couple weeks ago, he doesnt apply. The two pack is a great value. I'll keep on buying this.

Like so many others I have an irrational fear of snakes. So this spring there seemed to be an abundance of garter snakes on my property, mostly in areas where I had to water and weed and they kept scaring the sh*t out of me! I figured I'd give snake B gon a chance. I sprinkled the stuff around the plants and bushes where my wife and I had seen them and then in and around my garden. Sure enough the snakes magically disappeared from those areas!!! Of course it doesn't kill the snakes so they will move elsewhere and my wife saw a few in other areas of the yard that had thick vegetation, but they didn't bother me at all from Memorial Day thru Labor Day! I reapplied only once just to be sure that they wouldn't want to come back. I would definitely recommend Snake B Gon to my fellow snake haters!

This product will get rid of snakes, spiders, and ants. Works so well. And the price is great for the quality of this product as well.

I am always skeptical of products like this because most seem to me okay at best. This actually riddled my front yard of snakes! We had a couple garter snakes that loved to hang around on top of our bush right outside the front door. It would frighten our 8 and 5 year old anytime they saw it laying there since it was within a foot of the door. It got to the point where it just hung out there every single day. I decided to get this and haven’t seen any since. I went through the whole container over the course of a year and here we are 3 years later and I still haven’t seen a snake in my front yard. I haven’t even bought another container since the first one! Amazing product!

I put this down around my pool fence because my pool backs up to acres of hardwoods and some natural growth in the summer months. Last year I encountered a water snake in my pool that was very aggressive but I managed to get it out and threw it back into the woods. I walked out of my basement a little over a month ago and found what I believe to be a black racer because they flee when they see a human and this snake couldn't get away from me fast enough. I ordered four bottles of Ortho Snake-B-Gone. I followed the instructions but it was only enough to cover half of my fenced area. I ordered four more and three took care of it. I haven't seen another snake so I guess it's working. I'll have to buy eight every month until October when the temps get lower in Georgia and the snakes go away.
