Sun Source Melatonex Melatonin with Vitamin B6 Tablets, 30-Count Boxes (Pack of 3)

Took one each night for about a week and a half...nothing. Took two for another two weeks...I'm still staring at the ceiling. Took three in desperation and had weird dreams all night, still tossed and turned, and woke up feeling like I had run a marathon. I don't know what it will take for me to go to sleep and stay asleep but this is not it.

Sleeping has not improved.

I bought this at a drug store because I'm a night owl but have to wake up at 6a.m. for work. Falling asleep at night and staying asleep is usually a struggle and waking up early is torture. The first night I tried this (half a tablet) it didn't do much. The second night I felt myself relaxed after about a 1/2 hour and had a good deep night's sleep. I've been using it for 8 days and it helps every night. I don't wake up in the middle of the night and spend less time tossing and turning. I'll never be a morning person, but at least I feel more rested overall.

This product is the only form of melatonin I have found to consistently work for me. When I haven't been exercising enough, I can tell before I go to sleep if I'm going to have trouble with waking at 3 or 4 am. Then I will take it before bedtime, and it consistently allows me to go back to sleep within minutes, instead of spending two hours awake, fretting. When my local store stopped selling it, I was very bummed, and went in search. I've been without for a month, and am so relieved to have found a source.

If I could give this garbage NO stars, I would! I took it once, and that's all I needed to decide NEVER to take it again. On top of waking EVERY 30 minutes, I had heart palputations, the worst taste in my mouth, and as thirst I couldn't quench! When I told my doctor about the side effects, he told me he wished I had spoken to him BEFORE I tried it, because it's GARBAGE, and more of a hindrance to your sleeping than a help.

This is my favorite brand of melatonin because tablets are scored for variable dosing, and they include B6 which is a necessary component to make melatonin work.

It is so much better then using straight melatonin because it last me all night. Some nights I only take a half of tablet and they are scored for easy breaking.
