Park Tool PK-5 - Professional tool kit

Took a chance on the lower priced PK-5 kit that had evidently been returned to save 25%. When this tool kit arrived, kit was complete, everything was well packaged, in brand new condition! Kit arrived in time for a derailleur hanger adjustment, so was able to service the customer. Kit is fantastic!! Has everything you need and nothing you don't. Highly recommend!!!

I've been working on own bikes forever even before I knew what I was doing. Seriously for about 25 years. Through those years I acquired about $1200 dollars in Park tools. Last year during my move to Florida all of my Park tools got lost in the the move. They were expensive to replace but worth it. Some of the tools are better then they used to be.

I have had these tools for no more than three months now. I have used three tools that broke on their first or second use. Today, the bike chain tool pin removal tip broke off inside the housing. Their is simply no way to remove it without damaging the tool. And I was told because those tips are consumable, it’s not under warranty. I didn’t abuse it, it just broke on my second use. I’ve been using a cheap 7 dollar bike chain tool for years and park tool doesn’t last two uses. I’m heart broken I spent all this money and honestly, these tools are no better than other much less expensive brands and this genuinely pains me to say. I’m really disappointed. I genuinely am disappointed in a way I can’t explain.

I'm very happy with this complete set of tools for my bicycle. Park Tool have a big quality for its tools. I like them very much.

Good set of tools. Feels durable and what tools that I have used in the set functions well. Hex key sets work really well along with the cone spanners. The cassette pliers works great as I have since used them and the cassette lockring tool to disassemble the cassette from the freehub in my quest to service my Shimano hub and regrease the bearings. The adjustable torque driver is excellent (first torque tool I have owned), fastening bolts when changing brake pads, adjust seat height/ tilt etc. The P-handle and 3-way hex wrench are excellent and really good to use. The dummy hub is useful along with the utility pick set. The only issue thus far is that the compact universal crank puller, the screw threads isn’t smooth. Had to smear grease on the threads to make it screw/ unscrew smoothly. Was worried that it has jammed solid like my previous unit which after loaned to a friend, didn’t work well after. So far, works ok but still concerned about the threads. Not bad value for money. But since it is a brand name ie Park Tools, had to pay premium for the tools.

Honestly not worth it. You can get all the tools for half the price or even less. They claim they have good tools but they honestly feel cheap and one Allen hex bit stripped one of my bolts on my yeti sb150 so now I need to replace the bolt. I spent $1000 on the tool set and it doesn’t even come with a torque wrench. Kinda lame

This product arrived by days before the estimated delivery day! Amazing job by Amazon. Things I dislike about the set: The tools were quite dirty, with a layer of dust and grime. There were dirt stains on some of the handles, and I would expect more after paying this much for tools from this brand. Many of the items are made in China and Taiwan, not the USA, which is disappointing given the hype about this all-American brand.
