I use these all the time when fitting windows . No real plug required . Just drill and fix . If fixing into solid wall then these are like bolts . Easy to use. Great quality . I would pick these over traditional window fixings any day . Cheap as chips too . Works perfectly

I used these to fix some battens to a concrete wall, and they did the job nicely. No plugs needed, which saves time and swearing. Just drill a 6mm pilot hole, line them up, and drive them in. Most went in like a dream, clean, firm, and tight. A couple gave a bit of resistance near the end, but nothing a deeper pilot hole didn't solve. The countersunk heads sit flush, which keeps things neat, and they feel solid once in place, no wobble, no backing out. If you’ve ever used cheap concrete screws that shear off halfway in, you’ll appreciate the difference here. I only dropped a star because one or two had slightly inconsistent thread quality, but that’s me being picky. For the price and performance, they’re great. If you're looking to fix into concrete without a headache, these are a solid choice. Just remember, pilot holes are your friend.

Bought to fasten shed door frame into brick. Drilled 6.5mm hole through wood and brick, screwed these straight in with enclosed star bit no hassle at all, they proved to be a solid fixing method, no plugs needed. I've not used these before so only time will tell how enduring they are.

Some reviewers are saying these are not self tapping into concrete. No they are not you have to drill a 6mm hole first. Superb product if you know what you're doing

No Torx drill bit included in the pack as advertised so had to buy separately, bit annoying.

These really work well. I was sceptical but they hold really well and not having to remove the frame to fig a plug makes things so much easier. And they hold far better than the standard frame fixings i’ve used in the past. They work in both masonry and stone and even if they need to be removed I’ve found they can be retightened in the same hole successfully. If you’re unsure, just give them a try.
