casdon dyson DC14

I was hesitant to buy this for my 2 year old son's birthday because about the reviews of it not being very durable and being cheaply made. I went ahead and bought it anyways because of my son's obsession with our vacuum and push toys in general. I was pleasantly surprised!! It is exactly what you would expect for a toy vacuum. No, the suction isn't great, but it's battery operated and safe. Sure, some of the pieces fall off, but that's what happens when you bang plastic against the wall with brute force. The front piece has actually only fell off once on us and that was after a hard hit against the wall. It took a whole 3 seconds to attach it right back on. This was my son's favorite birthday toy and he plays with it for hours! Very happy with this toy--his 3 year old and 6 year old brother love it, too.

My young grandson would get his mom's vacuum out many times a day and pretend to clean the floors. I got him this Dyson toy and he is so happy with it! He and his sisters use it many times a day!, they love the different functions and attachments.

My almost 4 year old son LOVES VACUUMS. He wanted this DC14 to add to his collection of Dyson toys, as well as other real vacuums too lol. Now, if it weren't for my husband being an electrician & knowing how to fix this DC14 toy... I would've given it 2-3 stars. Because it flat out did not work when we got it. There was no suction because the the wires inside weren't even connected! He had to take it apart & solder it back together & modified the motor/fan in the process to make it have more suction. After doing so, this Dyson toy now has the most suction of all of them, more than the DC35 stick/cordless and more than the Cinetic ball! The brush head does fall off periodically but it snaps back on no problem. So this one is currently our son's favorite! The hose attachments have bigger openings too meaning they can suck up more at a time. But Im not sure it would've been a favorite had my husband not modified it. And it also didn't work at all! Lol so that's something to keep in mind.. it has the potential to be awesome if you understand electronics/motors and want to take the time to fix it.

I read the other reviews and ignored them. I wanted THIS vacuum cleaner because it looks like our real Dyson and my 2 year old is in love with using it to vacuum. I knew this would thrill him. And it did. Until it broke within the first 5 minutes. And continued to break 15 more times before we left for my parents' house yesterday afternoon. I asked my sister (who also bought this toy for her 2 year old son) if theirs had broken several times that morning and she agreed it had. And I am not talking about the suction function. I didn't even put batteries in it. I am referring to the other parts. The handle won't stay connected, the hose won't stay connected to the handle, and the front portion (where stuff sucks up into) won't stay attached. Those three pieces continued to fall off, over and over, and OVER again. It wouldn't stay put together for even 3 minutes and he was only pushing it around the living room and kitchen. I also want to throw in there that this vacuum is really little. It looks much larger online but it's tiny. Almost too small for my little boy who is 35" tall. play. break. scream. fix. REAPEAT. DO NOT BUY THIS TOY. You'll be sorry you wasted your money!

I bought this for my 2 year old nephew's birthday. He is always trying to take the vacuum from me when I am sweeping the floor. I thought this might work for him to play with while I was vacuuming the carpet. He keeps his vacuum next to his mother's vacuum. He loves playing with it . The little hose doesn't stay connected to the handle, but that doesn't bother him. He just acts like he is fixing it.

Pros: * it’s bright and colorful * it’s lightweight * it stands upright * the handle detaches w/ multiple heads * it has real suction Cons: * the manufacturer’s description is VERY misleading stating there is “also” suction in the detachable handle; that is the ONLY place there is suction. * The base of the vacuum does not not actually work * the coil extension on the handle is very short. * the vacuum itself is rather short Our 3 yr old still likes it and loves that she can vacuum tiny pieces of paper and tiny food crumbs with the detachable handle, but she complains about the awkwardness of dragging around the short vacuum with the short extended handle out, so not to have to undo it all time (she struggles with detaching and changing out the heads, too).

I got this for my toddler, who just wants to be like mommy! It has the sound and movement of a vacuum. It is the perfect gift for any toddler if you ask me!

It arrived in the mail today, and by the night I still can't figure out how to work the thing. So much for the 3-year-old being able to do that... It rides terribly on most surfaces and gets caught due to a poor design on the head. The plastic is very cheap, and the hose look like it'd break very quickly. The battery door is hard to open, and the screw nearly stripped. My normal screwdriver barely worked. I guess they expect you to have fancy tools to do this? I see no evidence of the choking hazards listed on the box, which worries me because perhaps parts might fall off and I wouldn't know before the baby finds them? The on button is not the easiest to work, and it's too loud on high! I worry about hearing loss with this product. It's not clear where to put the on board tools. The instructions as well are very, very poor. Dyson should be ashamed of this. Owning this makes me sure I don't think I ever want a real Dyson. This vacuum is plenty cute, as in you could put it in a museum and it'd make a great display. But to play with it? I don't think it will last, and it was [...]! The simple toy Dirt Devil upright is much better, and about [...]I think. This product made me have one of those "I can't believe I spent good money on total junk" kind of days. Sigh.

Doesn’t work like a real dyson only sucks air from the pipe not from the bottom of the vacuum. Started making a loud noise on 2nd day of having it and also the front part constantly falls off. Waste of money

Sehr schlecht verarbeitet quietsch auch beim ^saugen^ Und besonders robust sieht er auch nicht aus Die Aufsätze halten auch nicht super in den dafür vorgesehenen Halterungen
