Purchased this as a present for my daughter. Certainly not a cheap option but to find that the voltage is 110v for US use was unexpected.I contacted Amazon and they refunded enough to cover the further purchase of a voltage dropper.I don’t understand why they are supplying these units with wrong voltage in the first place with no warning in the description.

Amazon sold this machine knowing that some of their stock will not operate in the UK. Some are only North America 120V, not UK 240V. I had to purchase a step down voltage converter for £35 to use. Amazon refuses ANY compensation for their error that has cost me inconvenience and ££. Not impressed with their lack of customer support in this case. If you check other reviews, they did compensate others. They obviously know this is a problem and continue to sell this machine.Their email reply from customer service, “A careful review of your account reflects that the correct information has already been provided. We are not able to process any credit for the item you purchase since the details for the item indicate the AC-DC power voltage of the product. I'm unable to offer additional insight on this matter.” Of course it says AC-DC! It however does NOT say what the actual voltage is. It is implied that it is for use in the UK. i.e. 240V NOT the North American 120V they sold.

Amazon sent a US model with US 2-pin plug and 120V 60Hz sticker on the machine. This is not a dual voltage sewing machine. Very disappointed as this was a Christmas present and needed to be sent back.
