Seihoo Mouse Pad, Resin Hard Surface Mouse Mat Polymer Silicone Bottom Gaming Mousepad No Smell Waterproof for Games, Office 24 x 20cm (9.5 x 7.8in)

This is my first hard surface mouse pad. I have a stitched cloth pad which is okay but I needed a smaller size for my workspace, so this one looked like a good fit and good price for a first try. Wow! I love it! It's sturdy smooth plastic but it almost has a VERY subtle texture. (See close-ups; first photo has Airpod Pro case for zoom context.) I think that's why the mouse moves so smoothly but still stays in control and doesn't feel like it's going to slide away. This seems like a perfect mouse/pad combo. (I use an XTRFY M4 RGB ultra-light gaming mouse, which I also love.) The mouse pad wipes clean easily and is comfortable where my hand comes in contact. The edges are smooth and the logo is non-obtrusive. The back is textured nonslip which can't be used for mousing but it does its job and the mouse pad doesn't slide around. The pad was packaged nicely and well-protected for shipping. Really good product!! I might buy another one as a backup.

I originally purchased this hard pad since I noticed my cloth pads would get dirty and be nigh impossible to clean. This hard mouse pad was very easy to clean, a few swipes with a microfiber cloth and the surface was good as new. The red bezels on the mousepad that I didn't even notice while ordering have really grown on me, so the mousepad itself looks quite a lot better on the sides compared to a cloth mousepad. The mousepad itself is not too "fast", the texture on the surface provides a fair amount of resistance to mouse sliding. The underside of the mousepad is fully rubber and feels very secure on my desk, I've never had a problem with the pad slipping during use at all. Over the year and a month I've been using this pad, it has developed a slight amount of wear in the areas where I'm most often moving my mouse. These areas of the pad appear to be smoother than the other areas, however, this wear has had little to no impact on the overall feel and accuracy of my mouse through the trackpad. Overall, I think this is a really high-quality mousepad, and if you've never tried any hard mousepads before, I would highly recommend this one.

I wanted a hard mouse pad that I could use when it is placed on soft surfaces. Like it’s size & good value. This pad works well when placed on my recliner chair’s arm and when I’m sitting in bed. Black side is smooth and mouse moves well on it. The white side is textured & holds the mouse in place if the pad is on a slant. I am very pleased with the purchase. Recommended.

This mouse pad is so much better than the fabric type mouse pad that it replaced. I finally have a mouse pad that doesn't slid around and is easy to clean. My only wish is that there were more color choices.

I use an Anker Ergonomic Optical USB Wired Vertical Mouse (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FPAVUHC?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) day in and day out for work, and cloth mouse pads don't work for me, as I'm annoyed by the slight resistance they impose every time I move the mouse. This Seihoo mouse pad makes moving my mouse effortless - it's perfect. Some reviewers have complained that the surface of the Seihoo wears out with use. The reality is that no matter how hard the plastic is on products like this, you will eventually grind it smooth in the spot where you are repeatedly moving your mouse back and forth, which can interfere with tracking after a certain point. I own a Varidesk (a manually operated sitting/standing desk) that also has a textured hard plastic shell on all of its horizontal surfaces that worked very well with my Anker mouse - like the Seihoo, virtually zero resistance, and I thought perhaps my mouse was going south after a few years because it wasn't tracking the way it used to. I took a close look at the desk's surface, and was completely surprised to find that I had polished that spot on my desk to a perfect smoothness (i.e., I had ground down all of the texture in that one spot through the repeated movement of my mouse in the ordinary course of using it). At least with the Seihoo mouse pad, I've got four corners, and I can simply rotate the mouse pad by 90 degrees after a couple of years of using and wearing down one particular corner of the pad with my mouse. The Seihoo should provide me with many years of productive use with this technique!

My laser-mouse doesn't work on this pads surface. Its overall good quality and stiff so good enough to put my old mousepad on and use on a soft surface e.g. a bed or sofa, but the pad surface is shiny and wont work with most mice. Would work great on an old trackball style mouse.

The mouse pad looks good with the red border. The top is hard as expected and the bottom is a rubbery material which is supposed to be "Silicone Bottom" however that part smells. I am annoyed because I bought this specifically because of the claimed "No Smell" however this claim is false. It has the chemical type smell which some mats have and people have complained about. I bought another cheaper pad and the smell transferred to your hand when using it but at least this one has a top layer which isn't smelly.
