Most awesome light and or charge source! BUY THIS!
Oct 26, 2025. Lighthouse 600 Multi Functional Adjustable Light Perfect for Camping, Outdoor Events, or Emergency use Lumens USB Charging of Phones and Small Devices Long-Lasting Lithium Battery. I bought this light back in 2017 and it has provided long-term lighting and USB charge capability. The light lights “one-way” or all around. It’s useful as a work light or a general all around camp light. It hangs nicely, it charges by crank or USB from the truck or the Nomad 20 solar, and is the size of 2 soda cans.

Best compact lantern I own.
This is a very, very good overall lantern in a nice compact size. Pros: - Very bright and good light spread. These feel more like 350 lumen lamps with how much light output there is. The lamp housing is diffused, so you don't get harsh shadows in the tent. Nice touch. - Easy to use. Turn dial left for one half of lamp to be illuminated. Turn dial right for full illumination. - Dial also adjusts brightness. - Warm white light, very easy on the eyes. - Clear battery indicator. - Flip down stand significantly raises the lamp on a surface and provides a good boost in light spread. - Hook on top of lamp makes it easy to hang it inside your tent or canopy. - Magnet on bottom for that added utility and mounting options. - Great battery life for the size and light output. I got roughly 4 hours on full brightness with a significant increase in life after dimming it down slightly. - Daisy-chain charging. You can plug the lights into one-another and as long as one is plugged into a constant power source, they will all charge up at the same time. Pretty neat. Cons: - Charge time. These take 3.5 hours to charge up. That feels like quite a bit for how small these are. - No USB-C. This is barely a con and a very nit-picky thing, but USB-C would've been nice to see on these since everything is switching over to that platform and that could allow for some faster charging times.

Brilliant.
This review is for the Lighthouse Mini and the Lighthouse Flash. I wanted camping/power backup lighting that's bright (but not blue-white), rechargeable, reliable, long-lasting, and easy to use. On all these counts and far more, these two products deliver, and the value is outstanding. I'm glad I came across Goal Zero products. Lighthouse Mini: Clearly a lot of thought and care went into R&D on this gem. I love its size, it's cool look, its weight, its flexibility, its brightness and adjustability, the color temp (which I'd describe as "daylight" or midrange in the LED temp spectrum, like 3000k), and its rugged design. Even in half-on mode it's bright enough to read, and the battery is super long-lasting. The opaque shade is wonderful because it keeps the intense LEDs from being too blinding. I've purchased this light for several friends as well as for myself. Lighthouse Flash: This is the brightest small flashlight I've ever seen. I almost wish the sides were opaque like the shade on the Mini, but it's great that it can also function as a lantern. As with the Mini, the design is well thought-out, with great features. For example, the switch is recessed so that the light won't accidentally turn on while in your bag. As far as I can tell, the battery isn’t replaceable, so I hope it holds many recharges for years to come.

A very bright light in a small package with useful features perfect for camping and emergencies!
This little lantern is exactly what we needed for our camping trips and to have around the house as an emergency light. First and foremost, this lantern is extremely bright. It’s much brighter than I expected for the size of the lantern. One of our favorite features is the 360 and 180 degree light options. The 180 degree light setting just illuminates one side of the lantern, which is perfect when you don’t want the light to be too bright and harsh. The light is dimmable in both settings although it seems to dim more to a lower brightness in the 360 degree mode compared to the 180 degree mode. The manual crank works as described and is a nice feature that gives you the ability to generate some light even when the battery is dead. The usb charging feature is a nice touch in emergency scenarios. The lantern has a red emergency light ring at the top but it isn’t too bright. Overall, this is a great camping and emergency light that is extremely bright and has several nice and useful features.

This is the coolest little light! Attention night photographers!
This is the coolest little light! I love the options for standing upright , hanging, or attaching to any metal with the magnetic bottom. It allows you to use one half the light (180 degrees) or all of it (360 degrees). You can adjust the light levels on both sides. It has a USB cord incorporated into the light so you never loose it, for charging. It will also act as a charger bank allowing one charge to an Iphone, or multiple charges to a GoPro camera. Another extra which is very cool and handy is the tripod mount screw hole on the bottom of the light. This way you can mount it to a tripod and use it for LLL (low level lighting) for night photography fill light. Being able to adjust the light levels and use only 180 degrees of light makes this ideal for night photography. Its small and I hope it holds up well.

Does the job
Great light to have when you need one due to a power outage or a dark room. We have been remodeling our home and several rooms have been without electricity. I kept one of these in a bathroom at night and it worked great. Certainly would be great for camping. I would have given it 4.5 stars but don’t know how to do that. Took a half star off because it seemed to need charging a bit more often then I thought it should but it was still pretty awesome.

Rechargeable lantern / battery pack.
Came fully charged, and ready to go. This little guy is bright and has been running for two days. It has only budged the first power line down to 75%! Bonus!! You can charge your phone off of it, a few times. Great little camping buddy.

What's Not To Love? It's Fantastic!
Outstanding lantern for camping, backpacking, power outages, and so much more! Lightweight. Can be charged using USB or USC (sorry, drawing a blank!) Additionally can be charged by hand cranking, so you are NEVER without an option to power your lamp and light your way. Genius. Variable brightness and you can light only one side of the lamp if you choose so as not to blind neighbors. This lamp puts out some serious candlepower! Safe to use in a tent or camper. Built in stand with fantastic stability as well as a built in hanging handle. If you're looking for the best lamp for your money, why are you still reading? Buy this now! You can thank me later! I recommend the Goal Zero Lighthouse 600 without reservations.
