Small and mighty
I’m still making the Pomodoro timer a habit but the times I’ve used it have been great. It is well made and the timer works instantly when you place it down. Bright display and loud alarms keep you in check. I love how it’s small and portable. It’s a good value for the money I’d say.

Old-school productivity meets new-school design
I’ve used a lot of timers in my day , from wind-up kitchen ones that sound like a smoke alarm having a nervous breakdown to fancy apps that promise focus but mostly deliver distraction. This little gadget actually does the job. Flip it, set it, and get to work. No fussing with menus, no scrolling through settings like you’re trying to launch a rocket. I use it for my Pomodoro sessions, stretches, even when I’m cooking. It’s small, solid, and has just enough beep to get your attention without making the dog think the world’s ending. Battery life could be better, but I charge it with my phone in the morning and it’s good to go. All in all , a clean, clever, no-nonsense tool that helps keep my easily-distracted butt on track. If you need something that looks good on your desk and actually keeps you moving, this one’s worth the coin.

Perfect except for the numbers are upside down
UPDATE: Still 4 stars. Been using for a couple of weeks constantly. I just use the "52" and 5 minute timers. The flashing and volume and countdown screens are just what I wanted and I'm pleased with them both. The "hold" feature is essentially worthless because unless you have the hand-eye coordination of a safe cracker, when you try to restart the time, you will "roll" it to another timer and just start over. I was thinking the battery is fine because it shuts off pretty quickly when not in use. However, just now, I'm getting the low battery warning, and I just charged it the other day. You can for sure get three work days of use between charges. INITIAL REVIEW: Using this product is pretty simple. It is well built and feels like a quality product. However, I've taken one star off because the timer numbers are, in my opinion, upside down. One side of the timer has the color countdown clock. This is great! However, when the device is pointed where you can read the countdown clock, the big numbers are upside down. That means that I use the "52" all the time instead of 25. It is only an aesthetic thing now. Also, undocumented as far as I can tell, is that when the timer goes off, it flashes and beeps a few times then shuts up instead of beeping forever until you shut it off! Then after a period of time that I've not measured, the device turns off automatically thus saving the battery. OH, it also only took less than an hour to charge when I first got it. It blinks when it is charging, and stops blinking when it is charged.

Easy to use
I'm glad it's small because it doesn't take up a lot of room on my desk. Came partially charged, so I was able to use it right out of the box. Very easy to use, just flip it over to the time you want. No app needed or anything, which I appreciate it because I didn't have to spend any extra time to set up an account or anything to use it. Literally just open the box and you can use it right away. Also, shipping was very fast.

Neat little timer
Product for the most part does what it says, sets a timer for the intended amount when placed on it's sides, you can pause it by setting it up right but the timer is a bit sensitive and if you place it back on it's sides but lean a little to either the right or left it will register a different timer and reset progress. As long as no one touches it it'll work great. The biggest issue I had was the magnets on the bottom are too weak. Even for it's light weight it is unable to hold it self on metal surfaces, not even a nice flat one like on the side of a fridge.

Really Handy Timer!
I really like using this little timer. Once I got down how it functions, it's much easier to use than setting a timer on my watch whenever I make tea, time stretches, etc. The interface is easy to use once you understand a couple things: To turn it on, just press either of the buttons. You can also manually turn it off by sitting it with the screen facing up and holding both buttons for a moment. It will also turn off on its own after a moment with the screen facing up. Once it's on, set it on any side to start the timer. Whichever number is facing up is what it will count down from. Set it with the screen facing up to stop the timer. To set a custom timer, turn it on, set it with the screen facing up, and press the M+ and S+ buttons to set the minutes and seconds you desire. To set the volume, set it on any number-side down and press the V+ or V- button for whichever loudness you want. To count up, turn it on and set it with the screen facing down. Stand it with the screen facing up to stop the counting. Alarms and the counting-up cannot be resumed, only started again. I hope this helps! I really like this little device.

Tiny display, horrible alarm sound, high price, and smooth ABS surface that's a fingerprint magnet
If you constantly change between time settings on your Pomodoro timer and find the effort required to do so annoying, you might find this timer fits the bill. But if cost, reasonably pleasant alarm sound, legibility of display, or portability are important to you, I'd look elsewhere, particularly since there are now much better options available. This timer looks really cool in the product photos, but I didn't find it as cool in actual use. I've gone back to using my old timer, a Yunbaoit study timer, which isn't as cool looking but works better in all respects and is about half the price. This is a decent (though expensive) Pomodoro timer if --you only use study intervals of 3, 5, 10, 15, 25 and 30 minutes --you change frequently between these time intervals and don't want to have to reset your timer, and --you want a loud alarm but don't frequently need a highly-visible display to check the remaining time before the alarm sounds. If you frequently check the time before the alarm sounds, I think you'll find that the very small (5mm or 0.2" numbers) and rather dim display that shows the numbers at an angle (unless set to 3 or 30 minutes) takes more of an effort to read than most timers. This can be an issue for me because I find that the additional effort further breaks my concentration while studying. I intensely disliked the loud, jarring sound, which (even at the softest setting) was exactly like the alarm on a Kidde smoke detector. The timer has a few other less serious limitations. The 1.9" x 1.8" x 1.7" size makes it less convenient to transport in a bag or pocket than a flat timer. The flashing alarm, which just lights up the numbers, isn't especially noticeable, so you're effectively stuck with the loud audible alarm. The glossy ABS plastic, at least on the silver-colored model, is an absolute fingerprint magnet, looks gross pretty quickly, and requires water and effort to clean. My fingers produce relatively little oil and I don't have this problem with other things--I can go for weeks without having to clean my iPad display. The construction quality is OK but it's plastic (and feels like plastic) rather than metal. The controls are reasonably straightforward but changing the time (other than between the presets) is easier on other timers I've used. I don't think the black face is particularly attractive when the alarm is off due to the triangular shape of the buttons and the USB-C port being on the front rather than on the rear. It looks nicer when on, but all of the items on the display (besides the numbers) are a bit confusing. And, for some reason, the numbers on the sides face towards the back, which makes them upside down when you're looking at the timer from the front. Why all the good ratings when I am rating this a one star? I read a few of the five-star ratings and noticed two things. First, most have never used a Pomodoro timer before and thought this was much better than using a watch or some timing device. So it was the idea of a Pomodoro timer that they liked but they weren't in a position to compare this timer to other Pomodoro timers on the market. Second, most of the high ratings come with very short reviews that aren't very detailed. Compare that to the one-star reviews, most of which are very detailed. Before I buy a product I always check the one-star reviews. If they are silly--like complaints about packaging or delivery--or are by a customer who's disappointed that the product doesn't meet his or her very specific, unusual requirements, I just ignore them. But when the one-star reviews are very detailed and convincing, I usually pass on the item. I didn't follow my own advice in this case and regret the purchase.
