Nitecore D2 Charger with LCD Display Universal Smart Charger For Rechargeable Batteries IMR/Li-ion/LiFePO4/Ni-MH/Ni-Cd

Unlike some, this unit is very solid and well built. I had no trouble plugging in, putting in batteries, and reading the screen. A button toggles between information for each of the two batteries if you are charging two at the same time. Display shows (in a rotation) battery voltage, charge current, and charging time. I had to return some other brands of chargers because they were cheaply made and had problems. This one is much more expensive but you get something that is very solid, informative, and works well.

Not an 'expert' on this item, but at it's selling price it's well worth a try. Also, it seems to be able to charge other batteries other than the Samsung 18650's -- I got it for charging those batteries that are meant for the night/day nvl100 Commander video setup for a rifle scope, which is in itself 'great'. But, I hear that they (most night/day recording systems) tend to eat up power, so the only solution is to have more of the batteries. This charger works very well, 2 at at time, and has plenty of visual monitoring functions for the charging, and hey! it's fairly cheap. Bonus! Get'em while they last. Oh, I haven't charged any smaller rechargeables yet, either. But I see that it's supposed to do that. And that's great, too. Just make sure you're voltages are all correct....after all, lithiums can be a little hazardous -- just ask any airlines. Check your voltages & power limitations, etc. Been there, done that.

I use this for my 18650 li-ion batteries. I have 2 different battery brands & one tends to charge faster. One of the finish times I saw was about 3 hours. Much faster than the old brand I had which ended up breaking. I love this Nitecore charger. Love everything about it. Well worth the price. The product appears and feels well made. It's attractive. It also gives you the info you need right on the screen.If I'm correct, it has the extra ability (Jack) for charging in the car but the cord for that is not included. The power cord actually plugs into the device and can be removed. (This was the feature my old one needed, instead it kept shorting out.)I am so glad I chose this charger. Price, quality, functioning....it works awesome.

One of the better chargers available due to its two-pronged 100-240 volt power cord. In my past experience, micro USB power cords have been the failure point on several chargers that I have owned through the years and the reason I steer clear of them. Perhaps, this will change with the more robust and better designed type USB C power supply cables. The Digicharger D2 has performed flawlessly through the years (this is my second) with everything I have thrown at it to include 26650, 18650, 18350 and RCR123A. The Nitecore D2 is hands down a much better charger than Nitcore’s UMS2 charger that incorporates a cheap, flimsy, ill-fitting female micro USB connector which ended up in the trash can after less than a year. In conclusion, my search for a decent and capable 21700 charger continues.

Seems to work well. I have recharged batteries without incident. THere are readings whether or not they are accurate I don’t know but they are at least persuasive. It seems to stop after a full recharge but it’s hard to tell without other tools. The springs are okay but I would not describe as exceptional. The price is competitive but I bought a kit with batteries and recharger for a similar price from Costco. I would go back to Costco if I did not need one of the standard batteries. This charger charges those odd and new sizes like the 18650. Can’t get that at Costco. I never not 100% satisfied and would compare garlic n if I were buying again. If I only had 5 minutes to chose I would buy again, it is good enough for my needs.

Purchased to replace the one I've had for 4 years. One of the 2 sliding clips broke and need the 2 battery capability. This was an exact replacement. I prefer a plug into the wall device than a USB plug in model. USB didn't work out for me. This is a very solid unit that I can leave the battery in overnight without being afraid of blowing the battery. Dependability is what you'll get and is reasonable priced.

I was using some kinda Trustfire charger before, which lasted about a year before it stopped charging....which is kind of important in a charger. I used to own a Nitecore 4 bay charger (without the fancy screen), but it stopped working after I dropped an open drink on it. I loved that charger.Anyway, I've had this one for almost 3 months and my only regret is that I didn't opt for a 4 bay as I have more than 3 batteries now. Otherwise, this charger is pretty awesome. I really like how it shows charge time and charging status. I also love how there's a night time charging mode (i.e., ability to turn off the LCD), although I probably would never use because I'd forget it was on and then burn my house down. Not because I think the charger is defective, but my luck is terrible. I've forgotten it was on before, a few times, for about 10 hours and haven't noticed any issues with poor battery life from overcharging.
