I got this because I recently moved into a placed with a standup shower. I hated the idea of having a wood stool in my shower. 99.9% of shower seats are wood and I do not like them. I’d be nervous the wood would be improperly sealed and I’d end up with a splinter. Plus, I’m not trying to feature a stool in my shower and the wood would really pop in my white shower. I looked at white stools as well but they all seemed cheap and not very nice looking. They looked like geriatric medical equipment. I was specifically looking for a acrylic clear stool and tada! I found it. It’s expensive but given my past experience buying sheets of acrylic I knew it wouldn’t be cheap. This is perfect. It feels high quality and sturdy and I like hole in the top which keeps water from pooling in the seat. It even looks nice out of the shower to use it for makeup. I’m glad I decided to invest in a stool I’d want to keep and reuse even if it’s not for a shower. Very happy with my choice and I think it’s worth the money. The acrylic is smooth (no bubbles, like some cheap products sometimes have) Ps if you don’t want it to slide around too easily you may need to buy some clear rubber dots to put in the bottom of the legs.

I looked at a lot of benches for my shower before I purchased this acrylic one. It is beautiful as well as very functional and practical.

Looks good. Thick and sturdy. Wanted to ise in the shower but it slopes in there to drain and with no balance caps on feet it rocks. I tried the stick on stuff but no go. Will try to drill small holes and tap some in. May ruin it but not able to use now anyway. Looks great though. If was using on flat surface would give it five stars. Update . This is aging very well. Staying bright. I’ve had to clean it with some strong cleanser due to our hard water and it has held up great. Still have rocking issue but realize thats my bad for not checking on that before I bought it. Ising in another area outside shower and its perfect.
