The Stoplock Pro is solid and appears to be well made. It should be an excellent deterrent.
The Stoplock Pro is solid and appears to be well made. The broad yellow bar is very obvious and should be an excellent visual deterrent as a minimum. It is quick and easy to install and remove. It stores conveniently in the passenger footwell. The Pro (not Pro Elite) fits our 2011 Subaru Outback perfectly. I also tried it on our 2022 Ford Transit 350 XLT van. It fits the steering wheel well enough, but the arm is too short, allowing quite a wide range of motion before hitting anything. The units are shipped from UK. This one arrived quickly via DHL.

Fits 2020 Hyundai Tucson Well
After the Hyundai/Kia theft problem came to light I did a TON of research on the most effective steering wheel lock. Most articles rated the StopLock very highly and I can see why. The materials are durable, the prongs for the lock are made of metal and it is a bit heavy. To best fit my 2020 Hyundai Tucson, I turn the wheel about 45 degrees to the right and lock it around two sections of wheel (that way a thief would have to make two cuts to get it off.) The prongs around the back secure to the steering wheel snugly leaving little room for tampering. It takes about 15 seconds to place and lock the device. The bright yellow tongue looking piece is odd but functional to keep the wheel from turning a full revolution. By securing it at that angle, I can still attach my steering wheel tray to enjoy my lunch while parked. When driving, I put the heavy lock end on the floor of the passenger side closest to the passenger seat and console, then lean the yellow part on the console closest to me. It doesn't move and isn't too much in the way if I do actually have a passenger. Since this is a UK product, I would imagine that US thieves would be less familiar with this versus something like the Club, which would is an additional deterrent. While it is pricier than some of the other options, I feel that this device is sturdier than most of the others may make a potential thief think my car isn't worth the trouble, which gives me peace of mind. I am happy with the purchase.

Sturdy and good quality
My first time getting a steering wheel lock after a failed theft attempt in front of my house. I didn’t want to buy a cheap steering wheel lock that can be defeated in seconds. I debated between the Stoplock and the Disklok and I’m glad I chose the Stoplock. It is very sturdy and well made. It says 6lb, but it somehow feels heavier than that. Therefore, the Disklok would definitely be too cumbersome to use everyday. The Pro model fits PERFECTLY on a 2019 Honda Civic and it honestly looks pretty cool on my car!

Very snug fit on my '20 Sportage, but it works.
Got this because I'm one of the unlucky ones with one of the most stolen car brands in America right now (Kia), and, in fact, my car was stolen in late 2021 (though it was recovered). This is a great locking bar, and it does fit fine, but it's extremely snug, and the only position I can comfortably lock it is with the yellow bar angled toward the driver side door. I wanted to lock it toward the inner dash console, but it gets stuck at the dash and seat and presses down on the horn in that position, so that was a no-go. That said, in the right position (angled against the door) it works great. Just barely fits in the wheel spoke (where it can't easily be cut off) and fits snuggly without pressing the horn. I feel much better having this, though I consider it more a deterrent than an full on anti-theft device. It's visible and if anyone messes with it, it will be loud. :)

Solid, much better quality than The Club
It took a while to arrive from the UK, but the wait was well worth it. This steering wheel lock is very well made. It is easily attached and removed without damaging the steering wheel finish. Very high profile with a bright yellow arm. Highly recommended.

Terrible lock cylinder
Overall seems sturdy enough, but the lock cylinder jammed on the second day of using it. The tip of the key kind of jammed in the cylinder when I inserted it to unlock it. I wiggled the key around a bit and was able to remove it, but after that I wasn't able to insert either of the keys again. Fortunately it wasn't on my steering wheel when it broke, but it's a huge flaw if the lock will break that easily.

Massive device; will effectively resist any but a dedicated attempt to remove
Driving a brand new car of a brand that thieves think is easily stolen. The new cars are not that easy anymore but the amateurs still think they are. After a couple of thieves tore up the car in an unsuccessful attempt to steal it, I decided to install additional disincentives for future thieves. An obvious disincentive was a steering wheel lock, but after watching You Tube demonstrations, it was clear that smaller, flimsier steering wheel locks could be easily removed or defeated. This one was also eventually defeated, but it took a LOT of effort to get it removed; effort that added time to the process and increased the likelihood that somebody would notice and alert the police. It is pricey, but I have confidence that no car thief who is in a rush and afraid of getting caught will attempt to try grabbing my car again (too much trouble). There is no perfect solution, but using this device along with other "defense in depth" protection measures should be effective. Note that it is heavy and a bit cumbersome but it fits my car and sends the right message to a wanna-be thief.

10/10
To call it “installation” is misleading. One could literally put thins thing on is 2 seconds. Probably the easiest/quickest of these things available and also seems very robust/heavy
