Like the original remote!
Works on my old Sony sr500h dvd player without fail. Batteries in, power on, dvd inserted, popcorn made and movie night is on again.

This replacement remote control worked right out of the package, after I put in the batteries. No issues so far. It is a nice little remote. The original remote is likely of better quality, but I wasn't going to pay a premium price for a vintage remote. This one was under 10 bucks, so don't pay over that. It is nice to finally have a remote for the old CD/DVD Player. If you need one that will work easily, give this one a shot.

Does Most of What's Expected
"Out of the box" - it functions well at basic commands. No eject button. No direct interaction with the TV. Worth the low price paid.

So happy that Amazon had the exact remote for my older DVD. The best part is that all I had to do was insert the batteries and it worked! No bothering with connecting issues!! Hooray! The remote arrived wrapped and in new condition. Thank you Amazon! I know DVD's are old hat, but I have many that I enjoy watching. Highly recommend this seller and product.

Sony Remote??
Was delivered extremely fast, but definitely not what advertised. Turns on the DVD player, plays and pauses, but does not do any other functio s that a qualified remote would do.Dies nit have open and close for the DVD. Is primarily a TV remote with generic DVD controls at the bottom. Definitely would not reorder, nor recommend!
