If you guessed somewhere weird and creepy, you’d be correct. And the Raven Boys, Blue, the women of 300 Fox Way, and Mr.Gray are all on the hunt for her. As per usual, things get a whole lot more bizarre along the way — but they’re closer to finding Glendower more than ever. Will they finally find that old King? At the same time, Greenmantle, Mr.Gray’s ex-boss, is still dissatisfied with Mr.Gray not telling him where the Greywarren is. Now, Greenmantle and his wife, Piper, are coming to Henrietta — and are after Mr.Gray. Will Greenmantle and Piper get in the way of the characters’ search for Maura and Glendower? Will Maura find Butternut once and for all? This series is seriously amazing. Did the plot progress much in this book? No. Do I care even a little? No. I love all these characters so much I could read 800 pages of them going to the grocery store. I laughed out loud and smiled at this book so many times in public people probably thought I was crazy. I just love the way Stiefvater writes and I don’t even know how to describe it. She describes settings, moods, feelings, etc in such unique ways and it just makes so much sense. She also has this whimsical, magical style of writing that’s so entrancing I’ll go to read for 20 minutes and then not stop for two hours. Even the new characters in this book who are supposed to be the “bad guys” were so funny and interesting I couldn’t help but enjoy them. Greenmantle and Piper were such an oddly compatible couple. Speaking of the characters, the character development in this series is ~*insane*~. I feel like book one was a good introduction to everyone and their traits, and then book two focused moreso on Ronan and his issues, and now this book was set on Adam. I have not liked Adam at all in this series, but this book actually made me start to. He evolves a lot and makes a lot of realizations that I’ve been waiting for forever. We also get some parts of Gansey we’ve never seen before: anxious, unconfident Gansey. We also get to see a bit more Blue and Gansey which I love, of course. They’re so different yet so similar at the same time, and their late night phone calls and banter is just perfect Also, Noah. I just love him and always disappointed we don’t get to see more of him. He’s so sweet and funny and…smudgy, as Maggie Stiefvater describes him. I’m still not even sure what the hell that means but at the same time I know exactly what that means. Even though much doesn’t happen in this book, it is still thoroughly enjoyable. There is still a lot of mystery and “oh my god!” moments. Also, there’s a lot of character development which is just as important since this is a very character driven book. I’m just in awe at how an author can make me love five fictional characters so much. This is a “paranormal-YA-fantasy” book yet I spent 90% of the time laughing because I’m like ‘Haha just Ronan being Ronan!’ or ‘Lol Blue and Gansey’s banter, so typical!’ All in all…I just really love this series, and I highly recommend it Review: A perfect, fast-paced transition to the final book in the Raven Cycle quartet - Somehow, without expecting it, I’ve become hooked on the Raven Cycle series. Stiefvater’s lyrical prose and engaging characters drew me in, even after my lukewarm response to The Raven Boys. This whole time, I’d assumed that it was a trilogy, like most YA series. After finishing this one, which ended on yet another nail-biting cliffhanger, I discovered it’s actually a quartet. Which means I have to wait until September 2015 for the next one! Kill me now. Just like The Dream Thieves, Blue Lily, Lily Blue ramps up the action. As we learned at the end of the last book, Maura Sargent has disappeared underground, supposedly in search of Blue’s long lost father, Artemus (affectionately/sarcastically known as “Buttercup”). Colin Greenmantle and his wife, Piper, have come to Henrietta to track down the Greywaren and punish the Grey Man for backing out on his job. Much of the novel ties up loose threads from the previous books, only to reveal new snags in Blue and company’s plans. The Raven Boys and Blue are still searching for Glendower, and they’re getting closer to finding him. Gansey even enlists his longtime partner, Professor Malory, in the search. Our heroes stumble across a cave that might leave to his grave, guarded by a surprisingly sweet and enormous redneck named Jesse Dittley, who speaks in all caps. Instead, they end up finding someone else buried in the cave, who’s been cursing Dittley’s family for decades, if not centuries. It was nice to finally get some ancient Welsh action after so long spent on problems other than Glendower, even if they haven’t completed their original quest yet. Sadly, Gansey and Blue’s budding romance progresses no further, although considering Blue’s curse that might be a good thing. Still, they can’t help but call each other late at night, and their careful conversations and secretive handholding nearly broke my heart. They’re sweeter than ever “together,” and the anticipation of Gansey’s possible death in the final book is actually painful. Speaking of romance, [SPOILER] Adam might finally be starting to catch on to Ronan’s crush on him. I just need them to be a thing, okay? They’re such opposites, but they’re both broken and I think they could help each other heal. Though I felt Blue Lily, Lily Blue could have been combined with the final book, since the action wasn’t as fast as I would have liked, it was still an exciting continuation of the series. Stiefvater’s wry humor is out in full force, and her descriptions are both meaningful and gorgeous, as usual. "She’d aced her driver’s test. She knew what everything apart from the bacon symbol did." This book felt like a perfect transition into the final book in the series. We got to know the characters better, and the dominoes of conflict have been set into motion for the grand finale. As usual, the women of 300 Fox Way provide a quirky, funny background for the more serious tone of the Raven Boys (especially with the addition of a certain unhinged Welsh sleeper). Blue Lily, Lily Blue only made me love the characters more, and now I’ll have to wait several months for the final book. Here’s to hoping September gets here soon! A perfect, fast-paced transition to the final book in the Raven Cycle quartet

this might be my favorite book of the quartet. but i love all of them beyond everything so... the best thing of this serie is that the characters stay with you forever, wherever and whenever you go, and when i think about TRC i think about woods, maps, stars, grass, cars, old books, mint, farms, ravens, skies.. all these aesthetically pleasing and wild things and this is so beautiful, so if you're here because you're considering to read or not this book or the whole serie, just DO IT because im so happy i did. ✨

Maravilhoso, essa serie apenas me surpreende, com seus personagens, história e plot. Um livro melhor que o outro. A amizades desse livro são GOALS (uma das melhores partes do livro). Entrega como sempre, 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

I love the entire series, like the other works from Stiefvater. I want more, that's all I want to say! J'en veux encore. J'adore cette série, comme le reste des bouquins de Stiefvater. J'en veux plus, c'est tout.

Aunque por partes sentía que se desviaba un poco, permite conocer más a los personajes y su historia.

one of my biggest concerns before placing an order for this book was the quality and condition of the order. But I was very pleased with the quality and the book was obviously amazing!
