I bought this to use with my new kitchen aid. It is definitely compatible with it but much less than the kitchen aid brand pasta attachment. It is really easy to use and the pasta was perfect! It works so well! It’s really easy to remove and clean and doesn’t take up a lot of storage space. The pasta was the perfect form and thickness.

Very easy to use with my KitchenAid mixer. Would have liked to vary the width of the noodle not just the thickness… but I don’t think any of them do that… 🤪. Once I got the hang of this only took about an hour start to finish… and the taste….. fabulous… the family loved it! But this product with confidence!

I switched from a hand crank pasta roller to this and it is so much more effective, quick, and easy to clean! I'm making ravioli so often now and can't wait to use it for dumplings and desserts.

Made my first batch of noodles, they were wonderful! Attachments worked very well. So glad I bought them.

I have used original Kitchen Aid and manual pasta machines for the last 15 years, so I am very comfortable doing dumplings regularly using similar technology. I have purchased this item as a replacement for the original Kitchen aid. The first time it worked as intended. The second time, the dough was getting stuck between the body and the plates, which prevented the dough from rolling out. I had to finish cooking on the 15-year-old manual machine and noticed that the space between the body and the plates was very small in a manual machine (picture 1), which prevented the dough from going in the wrong direction as an opposite the very large space in a same place on newly purchased attachment (pictures 2 and 3). I do not know if it a faulty design or I got a defective item, but I would try a different model.

Great for pasta, lasagna and also a Gujarati dish called “Fafda”. Turns out pretty decent

Love this little gadget for my kitchenaid. It makes it so easy to make authentic lasagne, ravioli, pappardelle and other assorted noodles! Also it can be used to flatten dough for things like perogies or various flatbreads. To use I just liberally flour the unit, as well as the dough. If you find your dough is sticking, your dough is just likely too wet, so add flour, knead and try again. I use a paintbrush to brush the unit clean before putting away… Super simple, no washing needed. I’m super happy with the ease of attachment, use and cleaning so two thumbs up!

I wish you could take this apart and put it in the dishwasher, otherwise, works as expected. You have to really flatten the dough by hand before putting it into the machine, if the dough is too thick it’s difficult to manage. You also have to add flour to the surface to prevent it from sticking to the rollers… These photos are from my very first time making pasta, and the results were so delicious. I watched a video on how to cut pasta by hand… honestly… I think all I need is this one roller… I can cut other noodle sizes by hand. My favorite is Parpadelle… and I have tried many brands to try to reproduce hand made pasta sold in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and I am so pleased to say… it was super easy to make, and just as delicious! I worried a bit about not buying the authentic Kitchen Aid attachment, and I am so pleased, I have no regrets. I just wish it was easier to clean.

Pros: Does a great job for the price I paid at the time of purchase (70$) All metal materials Dial is easy to turn and locks into place Plug and play just like the OEM Cons: Build quality doesn’t provide confidence that this will last awhile. It makes a clicking sound when moving it around or shaking.
