Mr Naga Hot Pepper Pickle 190g

This defines the term hot! It is very hot but along with the heat comes a ton of flavor. One of the things I love about mr. naga is that the intense heat is relatively short lived and then u can go back for more. Feel the burn.

I read about this in the NYT and thought, could there really be a product available commercially that was as hot as I like it? And yes, this really fit the bill. One jar goes a long way even for a chilihead like me. Will definitely buy again when I go through the first jar.

I like to cook with hot sauce, but is very good something I just use a little in my dip ,the taste wonderful.

Everyone that enjoys spice should try this at least once. It is a one of a kind flavor and the heat is perfect.

I love to cook and some people have said I might even be pretty good at it. I made the mistake of marrying a Brit who burned his taste buds off long ago with late night curries and a lot of global travel. Needless to say, knowing the way to a man's heart is via the stomach, I planned to impress with the Curry of Curries...pure love in a bowl of sweat-inducing, hope-you-took-your-contacts-out-first naga pickle marinaded chicken kinda curry. Needless to say my man tastes this, even though he can't taste a darn thing. Toss a teaspoon, or, if you are married to someone sans tasebuds, a tablespoon or two with chicken, marinade for an hour and add to whatever you are cooking. Sit back and wait for him to sweat. Did you do it out of love or revenge? You decide. ;)

I am originally from the UK, so used to buy this from my local Indian owned store. Every time we went back there we would buy a dozen jars, so glad we can now get from Amazon instead. It has a good kick to it, so probably not for those that can't eat really spicy food, but its the flavor I really love. Most chili sauces taste of vinegar, this one does not. Always arrives well packaged in bubble wrap, and we have never had any breakages. If I could give six stars I would!

Excellent! But way too expensive.

I don't often write reviews. I'm from UK where this is much cheaper. I have to say this is phenomenal. Adds plenty of heat to your dishes but also adds a delicious unami. This jar will last a long time. A table spoon in a huge pot of curry will be plenty and give you that extra awesome taste. Wouldn't recommend eating direct from container, it's very fiery but I did try and it was still awesome.
