HealthPro Air Purifier - Smart HyperHEPA Filtration for Large Rooms up to 1125 sq ft - Smoke, Viruses, Allergens, Asthma, Mold, Dust, Pets, Swiss Made, Wifi App Control (Large Room - Plus XE)

There are two aspects to the "XE" purifier: 1) the actual mechanical unit and it's purifying abilities, and 2) the app control. 1) The air purifying capabilities of this is incredible. We've used cheap air purifiers before and never noticed much improvement. That all changed when we got the HealthPro XE. The quality of the air in the house changed dramatically. Crystal clear. Within hours the "old house smell" was completely eliminated. Pet orders gone. And using an air quality meter confirms that the particles in the air across multiple sizes are pretty much completely eliminated. I was surprised at how quiet it is for it's effectiveness. At first I was skeptical that it would do much given the low velocity of the air coming out of it, but I was wrong. Absolutely incredible, and I am absolutely looking for an excuse to buy another one. 2) The app control works fine, shows indoor vs outdoor air quality, let's you setup schedules or use the "balanced" mode which automatically detects air quality and adjusts fan speed accordingly. We found that balanced mode does not work for orders, though as these are no necessarily particles. With balanced mode, it will keep the fan fairly low and only occasionally increase the speed when we cook something, for example. But with the lower speed, odors are more noticable in the air, even though we've confirmed that the PM1, 2.5, and 10 are all at zero ppm. So, we tend to just keep it at a higher fan speed at all times to get the full effect of mountain fresh, crystal clear air. Ok, maybe I'm being a tad hyperbolic. The air coming from the purifier isn't quite the same as fresh mountain air. It does have a slight oder from the filters themselves. Hard to describe...kind of like a clinical smell you'd find in a hospital where these are used. But it's not offensive, and overall the air quality is noticably better / different than without using it. Only downside is that the app doesn't seem to connect to the device when not connected to the same WiFi network. E.g., I can't turn the purifier on/off when away from the house. It'd be great if we had remote control over the Internet instead of just the local network. I think every house and apartment should have one of these to improve air quality. Seriously, if you can afford it, don't look any further. You will not regret it.

Came with purple ink marks on corners (see pictures). I wiped it off thinking it's just normal but asking LLMs it looks like this is not normal for a premium product. One edge had some scuffs that I could not wipe off. Using the unit I had mixed feelings. It solved my allergies but gave me a weird cough / throat dryness. I don't want to take chances so will ask them to replace.

I bought this version after the cheaper version ($1,099) did nothing to remove cigar smoke from my room. I specifically bought the multi-gas version in order to smoke cigars in my house. It seemed that this was the correct choice which was corroborated by support for the company. Honestly it doesn't do much at all, even running it at high and for two days. So what I did was buy a $50 ionizer and run it twice at 20 minutes, along with this air purifier and that seems to do the trick, but not completely. Remember, that was for a cigar I smoked a day ago and did not smoke one after the first one. It's clear that this air purifier will not permit me to smoke cigars on a constant basis in my room and effectively remove the smell. The smell remains. It's an expensive machine and does not do what everyone says it does. On the other hand, we have a lot of pollen here in Georgia and it seems to purify the air in that respect. It's a notable difference. However that wasn't why I bought it and upgraded to this unit. I have decided to return it. If anyone has any ideas or alternatives that really do remove cigar smoke, I'd love to hear from you.

I really like this air purifier. It runs harder when there are odors in the air such as cooking but it’s not super loud so that’s good. It really makes a difference in our house.

Excellent filter for me!

As soon as I opened the box I was shocked how loud the fan worked. For $1200.00 I expect it at least work. I wouldn't give it a single star. Overpriced trash. You are warned!

Very happy with this air purifier. Also got the AirVisual Pro monitor. Well packaged and received in pristine condition. Both integrated easily with my home WiFi. Most interested in PM2.5 and on initial start up it was at zero. Started cooking bacon in my convection oven and the reading spiked to 120 purple range. The purifier on auto picked up speed and cleansed the air in no time. Many cool features in the app. I'm very impressed with this tech.

I previously owned the older version of this IQAir recently upgraded to this new gen. New model can detect air quality and automatically kicks (unlike the older model, you have to manually turn it up). The HyperHEPA filtration works wonders, eliminating viruses, allergens, and pet dander with ease. Perfect for large rooms, and the WiFi feature makes it super convenient to control. I noticed a significant improvement in air quality within days. Swiss-made quality at its best. Highly recommended!

Bon produit mais mauvais service. J’ai eu un problème avec le détecteur de qualité de l’air. J’ai écrit à deux reprises sans aucune réponse. J’ai avisé Amazon de la situation. Un peu plus tard, j’ai voulu commander des filtres de remplacement. J’en ai profité pour faire un rappel du problème en effectuant la demande à partir le l’application. Réponse rapide pour finalement me faire répondre que j’étais 7 jours en retard et que la garantie était terminée. Elle est pourtant de 10 ans si on achète des filtres originaux et que l’on enregistre le produit. Or, aucune trace de mon enregistrement dans leur système alors que dans l’app ça mentionne que l’appareil a été enregistré la journée de sa réception ! Le service est aux USA et ils sont incapables de lire des informations en français qui sont pourtant des photos écrans des informations disponibles sur leur propre application. Je ne suis vraiment pas impressionné. Pour l’instant, ils veulent que je paie le transport vers les USA et la réparation ! Au surplus, difficile d’entreprendre des recours ici pour invoquer la garantie légale. Mon conseil, acheter le produit d’un revendeur local, pas sur Amazon

I was looking for a high-end air purifier for my older home, Everything about this one seemed like it would be perfect. I ordered it, and arrived quickly, but unfortunately fan speeds 3, 4 and 5 made a loud rattling sound, at this price point It wasn’t something that I was going to overlook. I contacted IQ air and they sent me some troubleshooting ideas to fix it. Unfortunately, none of those things worked. I returned the air purifier because it was a defective.
